Lane Cove Doctors Medical Centre is a family medical practice open 7 days a week (including Saturday and Sunday) for appointments. We are a fully accredited practice located at 118-120 Longueville Rd, Lane Cove - a short 50m walk from the crossing. We have Australian trained General Practitioners (GPs) doctors, pathology, physiotherapist, dietitian, exercise physiologist and psychologists and are a mixed billing practice.

Our vision is to provide quality holistic healthcare that is accessible to all. As part of that vision, our medical practice contains state-of-the-art medical facilities and equipment, operated by Australian-trained doctors.

A valid Medicare card if you have one (check expiry date) and a form of Photo ID (eg driver's license/photo card). If you are a Workcover patient, you will need to bring your claim number and any relevant information with you so we can bill directly to the insurer. Without a claim number, you will need to cover the cost of all work-cover visits at the time of each visit.
A Private Fee will apply for all telehealth consultations, after the Medicare Rebate, patients will be out of pocket $33 regardless of consultation length (exceptions apply for specific practitioners and certain healthcare card and concession holders). Please kindly call the clinic for further information, regarding fees, if you are a concession or healthcare card holder.
The Australian Government has introduced two new programs to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians better manage their health, especially chronic diseases. The Practice Incentives Program (PIP) Indigenous Health Incentive is a program for your doctor or clinic to help you manage your chronic disease/s and to make sure you get access to the care you need.

Lane Cove Doctors Medical Centre has been my GP for the past 3 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else now, as I've always found them to be professional, courteous and interested.
Their management of Covid vaccinations has been exemplary, with seamless verification and processing of patients, making an otherwise inconvenience a breeze.
Other than boosting their patient numbers, and making appointments difficult, I'd have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I was a first time patient at this medical practice today and received my Pfizer booster shot. The process was very efficient and quick and the staff were all very friendly and professional. They also maintained the appropriate covid protocols with temperature checks before entering and social distancing once inside. I didn’t feel any pain with the needle once it was administered and was very pleasantly surprised that the whole process only took 20 minutes all up.

Have seen several of the lovely GPs now between our family of 4. All have been very professional, knowledgeable, caring and patient with young children. Occasionally have experienced standard delays for appointments you expect at any busy medical practice but never felt the appointments themselves were rushed in any way. Follow up with blood results and courtesy calls to follow up lose ends were always prompt and actually went beyond what we were expecting. Only trouble is the doctors are so good sometimes it is hard to get an appointment with specific doctors with short notice.
