Northstar Ju Jitsu teaches immediate and practical fighting skills that can be learned, assimilated and used quickly. Simple defensive combinations are taught in all ranges of fighting. These include distant fighting with long range kicks and punches, in close fighting with knees, elbows and standing grappling and control on the ground.

Northstar Ju Jitsu is designed to be a practical, fun, easy to learn system that instils the fundamentals of self-defence, confidence, discipline, respect, and focus in young children. Some parents may think martial arts promotes violence, but it's actually the opposite; we help teach self-discipline and socialisation skills.
Northstar Ju Jitsu immortalises the spirit of the ancient samurai in modern society. The program is a newer, evolved approach to martial arts and life relevant to our society and culture. Developed by Sensei Andy Dickinson, Northstar Ju Jitsu integrates traditional elements of ju jitsu, Taekwondo, Judo and Kickboxing into a holistic practice or self-defence and fitness, and also as a space for personal growth within our hectic modern lives.
We offer a fun, action-packed birthday package for your child. Your child and their friends will have a fun time getting introduced to martial arts in a safe and interactive environment that fosters respect and confidence. The child celebrating their birthday usually receives a present and all kids go home with a toy.
My daughter has been with Arrow for 1 and a half years. My intentions was to help her focus and gain some discipline. However, she has gained much more than I have ever imagined. She's become confident, responsible, caring, diligent, patient & much more. She's developing leadership skills when she is only 8 years old.

I've been attending the Arrow adult classes for about 5+ years and obtained my first dan black belt last year. I initially joined Arrow to take up martial arts after watching Todd Sampson's brain training series on ABC and to supplement my running with another workout. Since then I always look forward to training nights at Arrow.
Along with a vigorous workout, I'm always learning new self defence techniques, fine tuning my existing knowledge and get the opportunity to help/mentor other junior students with their belt progression. After two years at Arrow I'm much more physically fit and mentally

I wholeheartedly recommend Arrow Martial Arts. Having been training here for 1.5 years, I feel physically stronger and more mentally focused than ever before. Furthermore I have practical self-defence skills from learning a well-rounded martial arts system. Every class is challenging, safe and very importantly - great fun with a fantastic group of fellow students.

My son has been a student at Arrow for over a year, the instructors are caring and patient. He is very energetic but also can be very shy- they create a safe space for him to learn and feel comfortable. I always recommend Arrow to friends and colleagues as I have only had the best experiences with them.

Claimed as NorthStar but it is not. found Arrows owner quite business savy, keep recruiting new students, crowded with limited space, teach repetitive to suit new students, delay progress of existing students, owner is arrogant at times.better to visit the proper NS dojo in North Sydney or Balmain where instructors are really passionate to nuture your kids. don't waste time.
