Rosebud Dental Group is a family orientated private dental practice that has proudly been part of the Mornington Peninsula for more than 40 years. Established at the end of 1973 in Wannaneu Place in Rosebud by Dr. Peter Irving, it was then relocated by Dr. Birgitta Callisen in the early 1980's to the front of the 1533 Point Nepean Road site.
Dr. Derek Nutting took over the clinic in 1986 and relocated it to its present position at the rear of 1533 Point Nepean Road in 1993. Since its inception the clinic has always strived to provide a high standard of care to its patients, in 2013 Rosebud Dental Group became one of the first dental practices in Australia to achieve accreditation.

Dr. Malcolm McLean graduated from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1984. He spent his first 2 years gaining experience working in several private practices in Melbourne prior to travelling and working in London for the next 2 years. Malcolm returned to Australia in 1989 and has been a resident of the Peninsula, working at Rosebud Dental Group since then.
To keep your teeth and gums healthy, plaque needs to be removed at least twice a day. Plaque which is not removed hardens and becomes calculus, this cannot be removed with normal brushing. Regular dental examinations and cleaning prevents this calculus building up and causing gum disease.

We are located behind the Nepean Amcal Pharmacy (next to Rosebud Hospital). We share a common driveway with the Pharmacy. Access can also be gained from the rear Hospital car park via the Braidwood Avenue entrance. We are a private practice unrelated to Rosebud Community Dental the government clinic situated at the rear of Rosebud Hospital.

I can highly recommend Dr Will Tang ..Will replaced an old filling with care today .. as a nervous patient I felt surprisingly relaxed … I found him to be very friendly and engaged.. also a big thank you to his dental nurse today , she also was very gentle and kind which i feel is just as important … Thank You
Also I always find the girls in reception pleasant and today was no different. .. five + stars from me ..

So after 25 plus years of being a patient here I ring with a tooth root abcess and am in severe pain and reception staff couldn't gives a rats. Thanks for nothing.

Sore tooth over weekend Made appointment this morning for 11.40 Got caught in traffic and was 5 minutes late I was then told I had lost my appointment and there’s no more appointments available Hang on l am in pain,l also have a cardiac history l was happy to be fitted in between people as my previous dentist did if you had an emergency. I went away extremely distressed I managed to find another emergency appointment at another dentist and have turned out to have an infected root canal. Very dangerous with heart issues She has started me on antibiotics and referred me to a specialist Shameful

I couldn’t rate this place enough!!
Had the most loving Nurturing experience which was super amazing and defiantly what I was looking for as I suffer from anxiety and the dentist has been a massive fear of mine ! I had my very first root canal and I was looked after to the exstream the dental nurse even notice I was getting agitated and gave me a stress ball to play with I was walked through step by step and being reassured during the whole process
It was the most amazing care I was givin and I’m no longer afraid of the dentist Thankyou team for being patient with me and dealing with my nerves
