Food was lovely, very tasty, took a bit long to come out but ok. Unfortunately the attention to detail was lacking, when ordering food the service counter was cluttered with unattractive stuff. Plastic containers soaking eating utensils, cleaning spray bottle & used cloths, etc. Will probably still come back.

Good room and great service. A big let down for us though was the smokers area. We stayed in an upstairs room and there is a smoking area on the balcony. When the neighbour was smoking, their cigarette smell wafted into our bedroom, I could smell whenever they were smoking, even with our door closed. Given the proven harmfulness of second hand smoke, we should not be subjected to it when paying these high prices for a room.

The meal was disappointing. The pork belly was dry and the chef hadn't supplied enough jus. I had ask the waitress for a jug of gravy otherwise the meal would have been inedible. I was not impressed being charged $3:50 for a jug of gravy, it should have been complimentary under the circumstances. My partner had the pork entree and that too was overcooked and dry. Service was excellent, could not fault that.

Cool pub and good food. Service needs to improve though - the glass my beer came in had lipstick on it, so I had it replaced only to find that glass was the same. Wasnât going to go back a third time. Meals were mixed up also plus there werenât enough staff to take our dirty dishes away, so we put them on the empty table next to us to make room for dessert.
