If you are just looking for a simple no frills motor inn for your home base in the Gippsland Lakes district, this is the place. Simple, efficient service right on Main St, easy to come and go, plenty of beds for parents and kids, always cold water in the fridge, YouTube on the TV and the price is perfect for what you get.

For $90 P/n the rooms are clean but basic. Coffee, Sugar and Milk are provided, along with a microwave, bar fridge, Kettle, iron and ironing board.
Staff are hardly seen however very friendly on arrival and are happy to attend to customers requests and needs.
Onsite parking and wifi are provided in the price and while this motel is located on Main Street, Bairnsdale all restaurants, bars and clubs are all within walking distance.

Although an older style motel, our room was exceptionally clean. The staff were very helpful. Our breakfasts were exactly what we ordered (especially the eggs). The motel is central to everything and is easily accessed. What's more I COULD TAKE MY DOG who loved the new environment. I'll always stay at this motel when visiting Bairnsdale Victoria.

My wife and I stayed here for one night while our caravan was being repaired. We found it on the internet. Because we were only staying a night, we searched for the cheapest place in town. It was $85. Another motel advertised its rate at $85, but when you begin the booking process, you discover this is the single price. A double costs $95. The Kansas City is quite old but in good condition. Our room was large with a separate bathroom and another small room containing a microwave, toaster and tea/coffee making paraphernalia. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and had good water pressure
