We have an awesome array of DANCE classes available for your kids and some VERY EXCITING, special WORKSHOP DAYS too. The students will learn moves from our wonderful teachers from The Space Dance Team including Hip Hop, Contemporary, Broadway, Jazz, Lyrical, Breaking & have a wonderful Stretch & Strengthen class too.
The youngest group will finish each day with a fabulous Disco Dance Party to shake and boogie! Singing Workshop with vocal superstar and performer CASSIE MCIVOR from Channel 7's 'THE VOICE'! Turns & Tricks Workshop with fabulous Professional Technique and Performance Coach, AMELIA HOMES! Choreography Workshop with the incredibly talented Resident Choreographer of, 'SHREK' & SIX' the Musical, CRISTINA POLLARD!

Services
The Space Dance and Arts Centre is an exciting dance and arts centre featuring a variety dance and rehearsal studios, theatre, meeting room, gallery space and lounge. The Space has a range of dance classes for people of various dance abilities and interest levels as well as providing rehearsal and performance space for artists and producers.
The dance classes below are casual. There is no need to sign up for a term. Just register for each class (numbers permitting) on our online portal and come along and dance! Please arrive on time to your class. For your saftey and respecting your teacher and fellow students we have a 10 minute cut off policy.
Facilitated by some of Melbourne's best dance teachers, we offer over fifty dance classes a week for the next generation of dance artists. Our classes cater for dancers from 2-16 years of age and in a multitude of styles! Classes operate after school Monday to Thursday and ALL DAY Saturdays!

Le Bop, also known as Modern Jive, has its origins in France in the 50's. It was very popular in the night-clubs of Europe. Over time the style has developed to encompass an eclectic mix of Hot moves from Jive, Lambada, Dirty Dancing and many other styles of dance. This collage of dance styles against a backdrop of retro and today's dance music as heard on commercial radio stations and at night-clubs.
