Want more luxury, comfort and space? Our sedans are spacious and our people movers carry up to eight passengers. You'll appreciate the extra luggage space at the back. All vehicles are regularly maintained/serviced and before you leave with your rental we inspect each vehicle with you, recording any scratches etc. the vehicle might have from pervious rentals.

Here at All Day Car Rentals Cairns we get asked the same questions time and time again by different customers. Here is a list of our most frequently asked questions. With car hires of 3 days or more you get unlimited Km's. Car rentals of up to 2 days will get 400 FREE Km's per day. Any extra mileage is charged at $0.25 per Km.

During the Christmas holidays, I needed a car at short notice. Phil and the team were able to provide a car where other rental companies couldn't. Amongst a mix of positive and negative reviews, I went forth with the rental. The SUV ran very smoothly even at points driving in heavy rain, although could have better anti-fog treatment on the windshield and slightly more tread on the rear tyres, and I had no issues throughout the trip.
Phil and the team were easygoing and pleasant to deal with in both obtaining and returning the car, and the rental company is in the hands of experienced mechanics

DO NOT USE - NO REFUNDS
Like other comments Renter Beware! Cancellation policy was confusing and company refused to provide 50% refund. Subsequently they updated the T&Cs - how convenient for them and totally unethical. This company shows total lack of compassion, just happy to pocket customers hard earned money even though they provided no service! Credit note is worthless - 12months and QLD borders still shut tight.

Amazing! Real person answered the phone to field my enquiry. The online booking was completed in under three minutes & the confirmation was through within an hour. (Such a pleasant contrast to my experience earlier in the day when another Cairns car rental company had lost my booking and no longer had a suitable vehicle available for my hire.) Crossing my fingers that all goes just as smoothly during our rental.

Absolute legends these guys are.
We were stuck without a car after another rent a car mob let us down. Got a fairly new Skoda at a great rate...no BS and no extra fees.
Don't bother going anywhere else, these guys are the go...
Car went like a dream, we had it for 3 days...went everywhere.

What an experience. We booked 3 days in advance. It was a very rushed phone call where the $95 deposit was taken and no other confirmation occurred. The worker did not ask what car we preferred however we were happy with anything automatic. We recognised this as a busy time in Cairns for car rentals. However, we received a car with dents, no air conditioner, was absolutely filthy, the compartment on the dashboard fell off consistently and no license plate on the front of the vehicle. We had a great time and we appreciate the workers, however the quality of car was nearly unroadworthy.

We were so lucky to get one of the last cars in Cairns because these guys went the extra mile for us. The car was clean and ran like a dream. That was perfect for us. Comfortable and reliable and allowed us to explore the region. It would not have been the same holiday without it and we were so grateful. The service was very efficient, friendly and good fun despite being flat out. And then, when my daughter left something valuable in the car they kept it for us and saved the day. All round great business that I would not hesitate to recommend.

Hired a car for the day here and I'm stoked about how cheap and easy it was. We arrived on the day without a booking and the staff were very friendly and laid back, minimal paperwork and they have a box for returning keys after hours. Really no fuss and much better than a big chain.
