We hire bicycles ranging from road push bikes to mountain push bikes to be ridden around the Cairns City and the local area. We cater for both adults and children smaller frame and larger frames available. All bicycle hire's include a helmet as by law you must wear it and also a chain and lock to secure the push bike while on rental.

I had a very pleasant experience with Mini Car Rental. It was very striaght forward and the staff was courteous and helpful.
When my 24 hours was up, i called to ask for an extension but because they did not have rental by hr, they gave me one extra hour for me to cover my journey. It was very helpfus to have that extra hour without rushing,

Great service - near new car, clean and very reasonable priced rental. Family run business. The team were helpful - giving us advice on our travel plans; were timely with their free pick up/ drop off service; and were very accommodating when our dates changed due to airline changes. Felt great in supporting a local business. Prices are cheaper compared to competition but service was on par with any other car rental.
Staffs were helpful and provided required guidance and information.
They also guided me for "What to visit when you are in Cairns" which was very helpful.
Car was clean, new and reliable. No issue with the Car.
However, one little request, while renting i was told that "Hyundai I30 or equivalent" but I was allocated "MG3 Core" which is really not I30 equivalent. Corolla Hatch, Civic Hatch, Mazda 3 should have been provided.

I called up in January during school holidays to see if I could get a last minute car for the day, and 15 minutes I was at their office picking it up with no pre booking. The car was exceptionally clean inside and out, especially given I hadn’t given them any notice. Price was good compared to the big players, and I’m usually one to try supporting the little guys even if it costs a small amount more, but they were actually cheaper. Car was well presented and whilst they offered excess reduction protection, there was no pushy tactics being used, which I was grateful for. Nice staff, good service

Fantastic local businesses. I rented a new 2021 Hyundai i30 (great car by the way) in December - January peak season and they offered the best rates in Town. Many places in Cairns advertise as having cheapest rates but you are up for a surprise when you call in the peak season, but not the Mini car rentals (I was pleasantly surprised when they offered almost half the rate compared to others). Customer service was above and beyond. The lady at the counter was very helpful (she even provided us with travel maps, recommended destinations etc which was helpful). Highly recommended.

Mini car rentals were fantastic. Very efficient under very difficult circumstances. Hardly any cars were available in cairns but this company managed to come up with a vehicle for us and not at such a heavily inflated price as others. They are constantly flat out on the phone and with email enquiries. Despite this they went to a lot of trouble to return a pair of sunglasses to me. I did not even know I had left them in the car until they contacted me. So grateful for the trouble they went to to get them back to me.

Due to issues with travel through Victoria I was forced to cancel my trip to Cairns, and duly my car rental at short notice, as well as make several changes prior to that.
