One thing I hate to do is hurt a small business trying to get back on its feet, however, we ordered a fairly large order from Zaitoune in Putney. When we got home there were items missing. I called the… restaurant and spoke with the waiter. He unfortunately made the mistake of not putting me on hold and proceeded to explain to the owner of the situation and the owner yelled out “he’s lying”.
The owner picked up the phone and was quite aggressive and accused me of lying and advised me he would watch the cameras, which I of course encouraged. Firstly, it’s extremely

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The food was average and the meat extremely over cooked. We ordered a vegetarian plate that had vine leaves and falafel in the description and when it arrived there was 1 falafel ball and no vine leaves. When I called and asked, the man said “we changed our menu and there are no longer vine leaves so we gave you a falafel ball.” Just 1 falafel ball! I politely told him I was disappointed and didn’t feel that was communicated correctly. He said he didn’t care, too bad. I said I was going to leave a bad review because of the service and he said

Always amazing food and service at Zaitourne. My brother and our family often dined at Zaitourne over the 18 months my brother was learning to live with paraplegia at Royal Ryde Rehab. Your food and friendship gave him such joy at that difficult time in his life. It was lovely to be able to enjoy your restaurant again and catch up during my visit to Sydney. Thankyou so much for your kind, encouraging words and your huge generosity. Absolutely beautiful food. God bless. 💙

Got our family Christmas lunch catered by Zaitoune, best decision we made, when we picked up the food it was hot and fresh, everyone that we dealt with in regards to the order was really helpful and courteous to any changes I had requested.... the food was such a hit, everyone loved it and enjoyed every bite, the portions were extremely generous and no one was left hungry and there was plenty of leftovers to send everyone home with. Thank you team for making our Christmas lunch one to remember!

Head out to Putney for an amazing dining experience. This lebanese restaurant served a beautifully arranged platter of all your favourite lebanese dishes on a very creative serving tray. Food not only tested great but looked great as well. Highly recommended for those looking for something different.

The food at this place is to die for!!!
We rang ahead of time and pre ordered so that when we got there the food was brought out inessential than 5 minutes.
The garlic dip is incredible! The portions are huge! So be careful not to eat with your eyes!
The mixed meat plate was my favourite and the dips are all delicious.

Came here for the second time today and had a good lunch with my husband and 3 year old.
Friendly service and able to accommodate us for a 12 pm lunch ever though we had no booking and there was a function on. We sat "outside" but it was nicely sheltered from the elements. Easily opened up for some air as more people came.
Food was really tasty for what it is, I'm not Lebanese but have had Al Aseel in Greenacre for comparison!
It stands up to Al Aseel and if we're lazy to drive to the other side of Sydney (or the weather is like it is today, rainy and wet!) then this does
