At Downward Duck & Co everything we do is about helping people live better and more mindful lives. We provide for our community Yoga, Meditation, and Pilates practices delivered online and in-studio. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner, each practice at our studio is personalised to you.

These smaller groups means a safer and more intimate setting where our facilitators can tailor each practice to what you need. Yoga is an activity that aims to cultivate health and wellbeing (physical, emotional, mental, and social) through movement. Mat and Reformer Pilates may sound intimidating, but it's an accessible way to build strength.

Everything we do, is about helping people live better and more mindful lives. Through our range of accessible and Trauma Sensitive practices we offer our community in Springvale, Victoria Yoga, Beginners Ballet, Hip-Hop Dance, Meditation, Mat and Reformer Pilates. We do not use incense, hands on adjustments (unless for safety reasons with verbal consent) and we provide chairs & options to suit all ages and body types.

A restorative approach to Yoga, with each shape we explore design for deep relaxation and stress release.
Enjoy FREE recorded Yoga, Pilates or Meditation videos or some dabble in some light reading from the comfort of your home! Perfect if you're new to Yoga, Pilates or Meditation. In each video we'll break down different techniques and postures in detail so you can understand the fundamentals either to learn before joining us for a live-streamed sessions or to complement your practice.
Congratulations on your exciting news! During your pregnancy maintaining your health is vital. As tempting as it may be to continue your usual exercise regime, it is important to realise your body is undergoing changes and therefore your exercise routine needs modifications as well. To help you on your journey we've put together a few recommendations you might want to consider when building our an exercise program for you and your bub.
We welcome members of the military, veterans, first responders, their families and anyone who wants to be welcomed in an inclusive and accessible community. Access our Foundational Membership offer. We hold public classes and trauma sensitive yoga offerings (TC-TSY). The Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TC-TSY) course is for people who have experienced trauma at any time in their lives.

When I first started taking classes I was quite nervous but I fell in love with pilates instantly. I learned how to breath, how to move and where to focus when moving my body. I was new to it so I was clueless at first but Feren, Lisa, Sneha and Shaye were always there to guide me step by step, suggesting different options so I didn’t feel intimidated or left behind, thinking that I'm not strong enough. Excellent experience. All the instructors are patient and nice, especially Feren and Sneha. Also, they are professional. People who take the same classes are very nice as well. I extremely like the Reformer Pilate. Feren and Sneha taught me how to do it correctly so that we will not hurt ourselves and practice the correct muscle. Beginner and intermediate have different options in class. I like it.

Feren and the team do an awesome job. Always supportive of those with injuries and generous with advice. Meditation and sound practice is extremely relaxing, especially when Feren uses the bowls!. They have maintained valuable online classes during the Covid19 lockdown which helped keep us both active and calm. In that time I have discovered their Yin Yoga classes which were a revelation. Mat pilates class is challenging (as it should be) and Basics Yoga class at a level suitable for a beginner like myself but also great for those with more experience. I've struggled to do yoga and Pilates in the past because of all the moves and things to remember, but I've been doing pilates from home weekly with DD&Co since the start of lockdown, and I'm in the best shape of my life 😊 Very approachable and friendly!

It is so wonderful to discover Downward Duck & co, a warm and welcoming studio. Very clean and well maintained. Small classes, comforting with a holistic approach. As a beginner it has been challenging, but Feren and her team are very supportive and helpful, always provide with possible options of adjustment or alternate postures. A one-stop shop, with many classes per week to choose both in studio and online. All the teachers are great, positive and highly attentive. Ordered some equipment online from Downward Duck for home yoga/pilates during COVID-19. The gear is well made - studio quality - and eco-conscious. Delivery was fast (I received the goodies within 24 hours of ordering!) and communication was excellent. Thank you Feren!

Feren & her team run a wonderful studio. Instructors & participants are all friendly & welcoming, a good timetable, small class size, reasonable prices and a clean comfy studio. I've had 4 different instructors and all took the time to hear out my 'special needs' & work with me. They also encourage a community feel with lots of social & charity events.

Feren is a great instructor & I love the small, intimate classes she provides! Being new to yoga, I’ve really enjoyed the welcoming environment at Downward Duck and never feel intimidated or overwhelmed.
There are plenty of classes to choose from whether I feel like having a workout or just chilling out and I love that I can set my own pace no matter which one I’m in.

Downward Duck and Co (run by Feren Yen) offer a wide range of yoga classes which are fun and challenging. There are plenty of classes to choose from depending on what you want to gain out of the experience. Each class has been carefully prepared using different yoga styles and techniques in order to target specific muscle groups, help you relax, improve flexibility and much more.
