Rooms are very basic but perfect for a weary traveller as the name suggests. If I were actually staying in the area for a holiday I would pick something a bit more upmarket.

I've stayed here a couple times now when im working away from home I ring book a room.the manager's here r awsome really nice people.if U ask thay can help u with just about anything.plates nife forks which I forgot to bring but thay helped me out if your staying for two days thay have freezer out back U can store food in I highly recommend these nice people for your next place to stay.it my home away from home from now on.

We had to book unexpectedly at 9pm due to a plumbing emergency at the house we were visiting for a couple nights.
Jen at the desk was so helpful and friendly and we enjoyed our stay so much, we ended up staying another night. Beds were pretty comfy and we all slept great!

Considering that we made a last-second booking and we had never been to the Hunter Valley before, the lady (I don’t remember her name!) was extremely gentle and gave us so many suggestions on what to do (and what not to do!). The room was very simple, but super clean and the location was perfect. We’ve been really pleased with our stay here.
