Wild Wombat was established in 2008 and has created an establishment of fine homestyle meals, catering and great coffee. Wild Wombat is the place to visit for great food, coffee and to organise your next catering. We proudly serve coffee from Dukes Coffee Roasters who share a love and passion for great coffee and an untiring desire to break new ground.

Dukes are an Australian specialty coffee roasting company whose focus is the craft of carefully roasting the best coffees in the world using innovative and methodic roasting practices and we are complementing their coffee with Procal Milk and alternative milk products from Happy Happy Soy Boy, MilkLab, Bonsoy and using biodegradable eco-friendly products for our takeaway cups.

Good coffee and teas comes in interesting pots. The food is great. The staff are wonderful and friendly. Very chilled cafe that does what it does very well.

Delightful setting to match an attractive name. Modern disassociated "bar code" to pay and view menu was an interesting and not so user friendly interaction.
As vegan and gluten intolerant the food was basically avacardo on toast and a repeat of breakfast. Dissapointing as I had searched for vegan places to eat before hand.
With a wonderful delicatessen next door that attracks health freaks like me I would advise revising the menue to attrack this clientele.

A lovely spot for coffee and food, just across from the "End of the Line" at Hurstbridge (a truly scenic train trip)!
Warmly greeted by the staff and promptly served, we'll be back! 🙂🙂

The two girls working there were very patient with the obnoxiously loud family that walked in before me, and then took my order promptly, efficiently listing off my options when I wasn't certain of my exact order. The food was fantastic and the coffee was just right!

We had a wonderful brunch at Wild Wombat Cafe. All COVID precautions are in place including a contactless ordering system. We all enjoyed our meals, in particular as someone with coeliac disease I really appreciated the way they prepared my gluten free meal separately. We will definitely be back.

�🍳 we stopped in for brunch in this delightful cafe. Offering seating inside & out & a relaxing play list 😉 The coffee was delish, as was our food. Smiles all round ☺️

I love this place. Really nice atmosphere, service is friendly and personable, food is terrific. Very fair prices. Coffee is excellent too. A top place top air and enjoy breakfast on a sunny Sunday morning.
