Services
Preparing your child for school through a recognised Kindergarten program can be an extremely positive stage in their educational and social development, before embarking on their life changing school years. All LEAD Childcare centres offer a Government Approved Kindergarten program, delivered by qualified early childhood teachers.
Our teaching teams use an emergency Curriculum to follow children's interests and ideas. Children's interests are encouraged and future learning opportunities are presented in a way that sparks children's sense of curiosity and wonder. Through our extensions e support children to gain confidence to explore their world and take safe risks.
Children are grouped with others of similar ages, so they can play, learn and socialise in environments best suited to their own happiness and development. We provide opportunities for children to engage with peers of all ages as well as family grouping times throughout the day. Some age groups obviously require more hands on attention from educators than others.
I am Teagen the Co-Manager of Burpengary LEAD Childcare. With 16 years' experience, I hold a Diploma of Children's Services and most recently obtained a Diploma of Leadership and Management. I take pride in ensuring Early Childhood Educators build the foundation of early learning whilst putting the needs and rights of a child first.
