This exciting class is all about having great fun with your toddler while starting to build confidence, fitness and coordination at an early childhood age. Parents join in the fun and take their child through the training drills. It's a workout for them too! At ATA we understand the importance of children's growth period during this age group.
Originally from Canada, Ruth started her Taekwondo journey primarily because it was a part of her Korean heritage. Sooner than later, the hobby turned into her way of life. Now, years later, her passion for the martial art has only strengthened. With this continued growth and recently becoming a mother of two beautiful little girls, Ruth has decided to hang her athlete shoes to use her skill and knowledge to teach others.

My daughter started the Mini Rangers program several years ago. During this time, I have attended numerous classes and gradings. As a parent, could not be happier with the patience and dedication shown by her instructor.
This inspired me to join a couple of months ago myself. Again I couldn't ask for more with the quality of instructors and friendly atmosphere around this place.
I highly recommend ATA to anyone looking to get into Taekwondo.

Our son has been attending ATA for close to 7 years, since he was 4. He has learned many valuable skills that extend well beyond keeping fit including respect, commitment and determination. These skills have translated well to all other aspects of his life including school and other sports. Ruth and Ben have created a great family environment suitable for people of all ages and skill levels. It has been fantastic to see young people grow and develop from beginners all the way to instructing others. Highly recommended!

We have had such a great experience with Adelaide Taekwondo Academy at Happy Valley. The instructors are absolutely fantastic when it comes to working with children, which certainly has its challenges! They are patient, kind, understanding yet also keep the class well disciplined to avoid distractions. I would recommend giving it a go to any child, but especially those who may be a bit shy or need a little confidence boost, just as my eldest son did. Over time he became far more comfortable in a group environment which no doubt will help him at school. The instructors are very good at creating

Very dynamic club with some awesome coaches and mentors. My two boys are member of ATA since 2012 and they just love to be there. Being the parent my wife and I feel proud when We see our kids are really developing their skill not only in terms of an athlete but also as a person which is very important for them as a teenager.
