Glen Iris Medical Centre is a fully accredited general practice situated just outside of Ashburton Village. We are a 15-minute walk from Ashburton station and we also have plenty of parking on-site. Our team of dedicated and experienced doctors work towards providing you and your family quality healthcare with focus on a tailored approach for each patient.

The doctors are supported by a team of allied health staff and nurses on-site, who are there to help in any way needed. Our friendly reception staff are here to help as best as they can, so please feel free to contact us should you have any questions.

My GP here is great, but the main receptionist is next level rude. On multiple occasions, both my wife and I have been left gobsmacked at the service received both face to face at the counter, or over the phone.

Will not return. Booked long consultation was rushed doctor constantly checked watch as they were running late. Took phone calls during consultation without apology. Felt like a bother.
Btw Bring a dollar just in case you forget your mask.

Initial contact was pleasant, though it were hectic at the time.
Friendly GP, she patiently explains and listens, and very supportive; positive vibes all the way.
Front staff were friendly on my way out, as things had died down considerably.
Would return again.

Dr. Dream is really gentle, and caring! I am not a native English speaker but he tried to understand what I mean carefully ! If I get sick again while staying in Australia, I will definitely choose to come back here! Thank you 😊

The office can get quite busy but that's probably true for most clinics. The front desk ladies were courteous and there is a small tv in the waiting room which is nice. The doctor we saw wasn't all that great, however. I told her more about the illness than she could tell me. She looked things up on the computer and in her book but I could have done that...
Perhaps I'll update my rating when I see a different doctor that seems a bit more helpful?
