The Brisbane Martial Arts Academy has been a full time Academy since 1992 and was founded by Shihan Doug Tritton and Sensei Michelle Tritton. The objective of the Brisbane Martial Arts Academy is to promote and teach Martial Arts throughout the world to people of all age, with a view to improving their physical and mental development.

All purchases of Class Packs, Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly Fees for tuition at BMAA or Annual Registration Fees are specifically for the person that they were purchased for and are NOT TRANSFERABLE. Ju Jitsu has many styles or schools and the Brisbane Martial Arts Academy teaches a particular brand of Ju Jitsu called, Sakura Hana Ryu Ju Jitsu. Ju Jitsu is known as the mother of the Japanese Martial Arts. The following Martial Arts have been developed from Ju Jitsu:- Judo, Aikido, Seiki Jitsu, Karate (not all styles of Karate), Kendo and Kobudo (the use of weapons).
