At Lake Macquarie Educational Preschool (LMEP), we've been growing life-long learners since 2009. Our aim is to help every child discover a love of learning by creating a nurturing, stimulating space for play and development. We know kids learn best when families and educators work together, so we work hard to build a sense of community and family participation in all aspects of our centre. Busy families need flexibility and extended hours, so we're open 50 weeks of the year between 7am and 6pm. We care for little ones from 6 weeks to 6 years and provide everything (food, nappies, etc) for stress-free childcare.

We believe that quality early education lays a foundation for a love of learning and prepares children to reach their full potential. Lake Macquarie Educational Preschool is a privately owned, family-operated preschool and long day care centre. Our centre was purpose-built in 2007 with the goal to provide exceptional care and education for young children by designing inspiring spaces for learning and fun, both inside and outside.
We recognise and respect the Awabakal people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we play and learn each day. We value their knowledge and culture, which is reflected in our practice. At Lake Macquarie Educational Preschool (LMEP) we are committed to our vision, Start Early; Finish First.
We at Lake Macquarie Preschool pride ourselves on the joy and nurturing which takes place all across our school. Nowhere is this nurturing more evident than our Early Learning and Preschool One and Two rooms. The Early Learning room is specially designed for kids between the ages of six months and two years old.
Welcome to preschool one, here in PS1 we have a stable routine, but are mindful about flexibility too. During this age a predictable routine helps transition children calmly throughout the day. We prioritise your children and make sure they have a familiar educator at drop off times in order to make this transition as easy as possible.

I have had the privilege of working with LMEP in Business Coaching for around 18 month now and I highly recommend them to all young families I meet trying to make the decision around who they should entrust the care of their children to. Owen and his team have a commendable commitment to staff development, client care, professionalism, and overall the best experience that they can create for the children in their care.
