Am from Malaysia. Was scouting around Melbourne for a pair of Blundstone boots for the 3 weeks I was here. Didn't find anything that caught my eye at a couple of shops in CBD except for safety boots. Until I by chance happened onto this small establishment here at the South Melbourne Market.

Very disappointed with my purchase. Bought a new pair of birkenstocks, asked in store if they were leather and told they were, actually the uppers are now synthentic, not leather like originals. When giving the store an opportunity to respond before leaving this review, I was responded to very negatively, and accused of threatening. I was simply wanting to give a chance to sort this out before posting a review, but alas no luck, so have posted this review. Will not shop here again.

As a human being that lives in Melbourne, it is basically IMPERATIVE that I own a pair of Birkenstocks. My partner is apparently not a real human as he did not own a pair... until yesterday.
We were strutting down Glenferrie road (because just how damn cool is that road at the moment?) and discovered Yodgee. A delightful shop full to the brim with *sensible* shoes. That's right, there was not a peep-toe heel or platform wedge in sight.
So what was there? Stylish, comfortable and built-to-last shoes by some of the best, including the ever-important Birkenstocks, and the ever-cool Doc Martens
