Following recommendations from my neighbourhood, I dropped off 4 pair of shoes that needed serious repair. The job has been done perfectly and I believe that the price was also really reasonable. First and last time customer. I brought a pair of light coloured shoes to get part of the sole re-glued and I could've done a better job myself. Messy handiwork with glue visible and my shoes were returned with black dirt marks/black residue all over the front. Lady who served me said that it couldn't have been them - they don't use black glue, she gave me a $3 discount (still paid $25) but I can never wear the shoes again. Will stick to my regular shoe repairer in the city!

Being on a rather more frugal than I'd like student budget, I know the importance of taking good care of my shoes. As much as I'd like to buy a new pair whenever I please, sadly it just isn't an option. As a result, I regularly get my shoes cleaned and re-soled, all in the aim of prolonging the wear I can get out of them. Frugal indeed.
