Our New Farm shop is on the site where generations of bakers have tossed flour and kneaded dough for over 50 years. Catch Nanna and grandson Josh, every Saturday from 6:00am to 2:00pm under the glorious, giant fig trees at Davies Park, West End. We've been a stall holder here in one guise or another since the markets inception nearly 15 years ago.

The Bakeologists are your Brisbane born & bread (pardon the pun), independent, family owned & operated, modern Australian bakery. Our legendary bakers handcraft breads nightly, our whiz-bang pastry team compose sweet treats & yummy savouries daily to deliver you a quick snack, or something "more than a meal".
Artisan or everyday breads, we apply the same care and artisan ideals to every loaf. We care about the outcome, and what ends up on your plate is what WE care about. We don't add any artificial additives or preservatives, all we add is care and attention to the process which yields the premium outcome.
We love meat pies. Our focus is bringing the quality back to the Aussie icon. Flavour and individuality is key for us. We use our own herb and spice blends to create OUR range. Too long Australian bakeries pies have all come out of the same packet. Not us, we use top quality meats and fresh ingredients.
Our sandwiches are what legends are made of. Using top quality ingredients at all times, applying care with assembly, cooking meats in-house and using world class breads (which coincidentally have been made by us) is OUR recipe for success. House cooked locally cured cornmeat, gherkin relish, swiss cheese and mustard mayo on our malted barley pane italiano.
Our sweets are made by us by hand from scratch and without anything artificial. Being independent, means we have the ability to experiment with our products, so you'll find new items regularly. We like to take traditional Australian bakery favourites and refine them with modern ingredients, techniques and flavours, to remind you of times past but excite your tastebuds with whats coming in the future.
