Jacob's Bakery has cemented itself as the premier purveyor of baked products within the northern suburbs of Brisbane. From humble beginnings the business has grown over the years to now serve some 8000 customers per week from 5 retail outlets.
We love serving delicious freshly-baked goods to you, your friends and family as you catch-up on your day and enjoy each others company. At each of our Brisbane northside bakeries you can eat-in or take-away, choosing from an extensive range of breads, savouries, pies and sausage rolls as well as mouthwatering slices, share cakes and treats.
Draw inspiration from our range for your own custom creation. Please allow a minimum 3 days notice for orders. However, please contact us within tighter time frames as we do have a selection of cakes on hand for impromptu orders and last minute requests. Our Sponge is beautifully light and fluffy, available as standard in either vanilla or chocolate flavours.

Our Aspley store is situated near Aspley Central Tavern and Cold Rock Ice Creamery at 1378 Gympie Road, Aspley. Our Bridgeman Downs store is located in the Metro-on-Beckett Complex on the corner of Beckett Road and Saturn Crescent North. Our Carseldine store is situated in the building adjacent to the Caltex Service Station, at 1760 Gympie Road Carseldine.

I purchased a chunky pie from the Aspley store last Thursday.
It would have to be the worst pie I have ever tried to eat.
The pastry was hard because obviously it had been in the pie warmer for an extended period of time.
It was lukewarm and nowhere near the 60+ temperature required by the State health laws.The filling was black, and jellyfied and the meat chunks chewy and not cooked correctly.
I would never recommend your pies to anyone, and you need to correct your pie warmer temperature before you give someone food poisoning.

Ordered cake for our daughters birthday , ordered chocolate sponge cake , they gave us vanilla on day . Plus lost our cake into their own fridge for two hours . Told us they have no cake on shop for us . And found in shop after two hours . I have strong feelings they made new on same time we been waiting and they forgot what we ordered. And ruined our day because little one wasn’t happy the cake she wanted was chocolate one . . Please avoid yourself a hassle and order somewhere where they understand cake isn’t food it’s special thing for special day .

Booked cake with them for my daughters birthday. Went to get the cake .they could not find cake in shop . And then pretended like they have cake in other shop or warehouse . Waited for cake 2 hours . We booked with them as they were close to party place . And because of summer we wanted to get cake exact time when cake cutting is happening. Service is joke and we have left with no option except wait and wait . And made us look idiots in front of our guest as well .

This is a wonderful family owned bakery. The cakes are delicious, especially the mud cakes. I've ordered cakes for special occasions and they have been fantastic, along with the service. I also love their bread and scones. Everything is always very fresh - I'm always so happy with any products from this bakery (or their bakery at Carseldine).

I used to come here at least once a week for some baked goods, the odd pie and a weekly egg and salad roll.
Since the original ladies left and they've been replaced with young staff I also find the service very disappointing. It first started with less salad being put into the roll and gradually got to me today when my egg and salad roll had tomato, beetroot and carrot and egg.
He told me afterwards that they were out of lettuce and cucumber, didn't ask for onion and didn't put salt & pepper on.
The final straw was that they were also out of mince pies.

After coming to this bakery my whole childhood I was excited to visit it once again with my father. My sandwich was great but I was absolutely appalled by the customer service.
The server put through the order and it was definitely entered in incorrectly as the order total was way too expensive, so my father asked if she could check it again. Without even looking twice she bluntly replied that the amount on the screen was correct. The other server then intervened and the first girl just walked off. Since new management has taken over its been driven into the ground. Quality of food has decresed. Customer service was average at best. It's unfortunate as i used to religiously come here most mornings.
The love and passion has clearly left this place and i dare say if it continues it will close up shop within 12 - 18 months.

Jacobs have lovely made sandwiches. Especially cornbeef and pickles.
If you are ordering a cake give yourself a good 3-4 days if ordering online. I ordered 3 days and I also contacted via their email address. Lucky they had 1 cake I wanted left as they didn't get my order. Then while I was in store the email came through order Monday for a Thursday pick up.
