Uncle Bob's Bakery was established in 1993 and is a privately owned organisation. Owner Brett Noy, is a multiple industry award winner, Australian Baking Team Member and Team Captain, who grew up in the baking industry with fond memories of working in his parents bakery in the central Queensland town of Barcaldine.
Our people are the core of our business, in order for us to provide our clients with the highest quality product and service it is vital that we have the best people for the job. I also have to agree about the aggressive staff. A few days ago was my first time ever visiting uncle bobs bakery belmont. I was served by ‘Deb’ as another staff member called her and I have never experienced such horrible customer service. I wanted a few things and I watched her roll her eyes and sigh every time I asked for something else. I also watched her yell at a younger staff member and the other staff member looked shocked and scared from it. I listened to the way she served every customer as I was waiting for my coffee and it was the same. I will not be buying from uncle bobs again

Popped into this bakery today and when my google reviews came up I was surprised to see someone commented the staff were aggressive. I rarely have time for reviews but I really disagree.
These girls are very busy and they always remember to give you a smile. Often Ive seen them them chat with elderly locals.
It's a big store and the pace fast.
If they are aggressive McDonald's is a war zone "is that all, is that all".
I've watched this bakery grow for the last 10 years, I might only visit a few times a year but never seen any aggressive people.

Great local bakery. Grew up with them round the corner. Freshly made, wide range of baked goods. Excellent staff, very friendly, polite, great customer service. They've done many birthday cakes and cupcakes for school classes and family birthdays over the years for us. Love the freshly made sandwiches. Our favourites also include the blueberry and apple buns, sponge cake, and custard tarts. ❤️
