Our educators are friendly and experienced and have all worked at Henry Street for many years. We are located in the original school building in Henry Street, Merewether.

Our philosophy encompasses play based learning - children are encouraged to explore and investigate through play. Services
At Henry Street Preschool we ensure that every child is valued as the individual they are. Children are encouraged to explore and investigate though play while developing their sense of self. Early education brings change in children's lives and we are here to support them in their development with nurturing, respectful and responsive relationships with educators.
Our close knit and caring team of educators provide ongoing continuity and stability for the centre and its children. We pride ourselves in our strong relationships that we develop and maintain with families who have attended Henry Street over the years. It is always lovely to see children who have attended our centre and see them grow and develop.

My son was actually the one who wanted to attend Henry St preschool .. after touring a few local preschools , he knew immediately that the teachers at Henry st and the environment they’ve created was for him ! We have been so happy with this learning centre - the teachers are truly genuine , experienced and put the needs of their students first ! They were so caring and thoughtful during covid this year - we really appreciated the art packs that were dropped at our door and the emails checking in ! Forever grateful !
