Hamilton Community Pre-School acknowledges the Awabakal people who are the traditional custodians of this land. Hamilton Community Pre-School would also like to pay respect to the elders past, present and future and extend that respect to other Aboriginals present. Hamilton Community Pre-School is a community-based, non-profit service and any profits made are channelled back into the service for the benefit of the children.
The Pre-School is run by the community. We provide high quality care and learning opportunities for children aged 3- 6 years, this is evident in our National Quality Standard overall rating which was exceeding. We believe that all children need a caring, safe and stimulating learning environment to foster their individual development and interests.

Services
Comprehensive individual progressive development of gross motor skills, namely the Fundamental Movement Skills. Detailed individual documentations that tell the story of your child's learning with comprehensive linkages to the EYLF and National Quality Standards, A thorough Analysis of Learning with references to early childhood researchers and theorists.
As part of employment at the Pre-School, and in accordance with Department of Education and Communities, the Ombudsman Act, and the Children (Care and Protection) Act, all educators are required to undergo a Working with Children Check. This ensures the safety of the children enrolled. In accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations, the Pre-School is required to employ a total of three staff to meet staff to child ratios.
Hamilton Community Pre-School has adopted the Early Years Learning Framework for programming we write daily jottings in our Reflective Daily Journal. These jotting note the fun, interactions and tells a brief story about the child at play. This is then reflected upon by educators to promote and extend the child's learning next time they are at Pre-School.
The Pre-School is managed by a committee made up of parents and community members. The Committee is responsible for the direction of the Pre-School and its effectiveness and works to ensure the Pre-School is conducted within all relevant legal requirements. The Management Committee is elected by parents and family members and provides a way for users of our service to have a say in what happens at the centre.
Hamilton Community Preschool Philosophy includes an open door approach in educating young children. Families are encouraged to have as much partnership as they feel comfortable with. Although this family involvement in the preschool's activities is recommended and encouraged, is completely optional.
