Services
Just over forty years ago, we made our "tree change" move from the city and bought a dairy farm in rural Forrest. This was a big learning curve for two city people with three children in tow but with grit and determination we made it work for us. Farming was a great lifestyle choice for us and although we no longer milk cows, we have no thought of leaving the area.
Forrest River Valley offers three large, very private self-contained studio units with floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase the stunning valley views across our rural property to the Otway Ranges beyond. Magpie Suite is a very spacious, self-contained unit with a private deck to enjoy the sweeping valley views.
Forrest is the hinterland gateway to the spectacular Great Ocean Road. The coast is just a short 30min drive through the Otway National Park with access to magnificent beaches, the Great Ocean Walk, the Otway Fly, Cape Otway Lighthouse, the 12 Apostles and more.

For those who want to experience the majestic Great Otway National Park with its towering gums, lush treeferns, exotic grass-trees, spectacular waterfalls, abundant bird life - Forrest has all this to offer and more.

Great spot. But if you plan on arriving late eat before you get here as there are no places open to eat after 8pm. Saw many wild kangaroos along the way
