Established in 1995 and located in the inner west, the CBT Clinical Psychology Centre is a network of experienced clinical psychologists providing total help for the individual, the partner and the parent. Our clinical psychologists have expertise in adult, adolescent and child disorders. They are all trained in treating depression and anxiety disorders and specialise in a variety of other areas.
All our clinical psychologists are registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and endorsed for clinical psychology as an approved area of practice. Child problems including anxiety, depression, social skills, behaviour management and learning difficulties.

Services
As the name indicates, CBT is a combination of cognitive techniques (how we think) and behavioural techniques (how we act). It is a psychological approach based on scientific principles and supported by research over more than four decades that has shown it to be effective for a wide range of problems.
Everyday problems in a person's personal or professional life can seriously affect their mental well-being. It's time to seek professional help when all of the usual coping strategies that get a person through their ups and downs are not working, or if a GP suggests seeing a clinical psychologist. You can be eligible for a Medicare rebate towards the cost of the session if you visit your GP for a referral and get a Mental Health Care Plan lodged with Medicare. You can then claim a rebate for up to 10 visits as required. Once we have your Medicare details on file we can process your rebate directly into your savings or cheque account.
