I rang up asking about my exhaust filter and he said to drive by and they'll do a quick check and then give me my options. He plugged my car into an i-pad device, obviously not really knowing what he was doing so he then spends 15mins on the phone asking someone else what to do.... then tells me a mix of maybe this maybe that but could be up to $1000. I decide to leave and he hits me up for $180 for that 1/2 which was supposed to be a " drop by and we'll make an assessment of your option"...no mention of the fact that quick drop in will cost me $180...what a dodgy scam, I feel like reporting them

Although my car was serviced fine my main issue I took the car in for was not attended to and I was strung along for 2 weeks on a repair which was a priority to be fixed with my car. I called up 6 times to check in and never got an update even when I was told it would be ready I wouldn't even get a call to say it wasn't ready yet. I can appreciate you are a busy and short staffed but don't string people along I could have arranged a hire care rather than spending hundreds on ubers and public transport. I now have a car which still has a fault and wasted two weeks of my time. If you can't do something

Specialises in UK car makes (Land Rovers, Jaguars, MGs). Experienced mechanic and performs honest work, but seems to be on his own. Labour cost/rate is considered on the higher side though. Generally satisfied with the service.

Hi pierre my name I took my car today to replace brake pads and RH outer cv boot I did supply all the parts , and he check what the car need
my invoice $759.93 I was choked I paid and I left
when I get home I make a few calls for other work shop I found he charge me at list $ 400 extra. I called him and I asked him for refund he refused
so never ever go there Micheal and David both owners are thieves stealing peoples money they should shut the business

Friendly, skilled workmanship and old school service.
Not cheap, although great value and worth the price for the quality outcome.
However, I would suggest they give cars a wash and quick vacuum prior to pickup. It'd turn their A grade service into A+ service.

I've taken my Land Rover Defender to Pickards a few times. Michael and the team do excellent work. Fast, reliable and efficient.

Specialising in MG and other British marques, they offer regular service and repair works as you'd expect, but also the more specialised restoration type of work. These guys are definitely on the pricey side, their hourly rate is double to two and a half times what you will pay at comparable workshops.

The new management team at Pickards was great. Friendly, helpful and realistic with their quote. They kept me informed when they came across something that they hadn't anticipated and were much more reasonable in price than when I was having my service done at the dealership.

My MG TF died suddenly in a busy car park on Saturday afternoon!
RACV was fantastic in responding to first the call, then the tow.

First thing Monday morning I rang Pickard's and they arranged to fix it that day.
