Services
In 2012 Riverstone Family Medical Practice won a Commonwealth Government Primary Care Infrastructure Grant in order to expand the practice premises and services. The Royal Australian College of General Practice has documented the 4th edition of the Standards for general practices which they describe as "one of the pillars of safety and quality in the Australian healthcare system".
If you need to come when your doctor is not here one of our other doctors will be able to access all of your medical history and test results for continuity of care. Getting to know you. You'll notice from your first visit that we're interested in getting to know as much about you as you feel comfortable to share in order to offer you our best service to meet your needs.

We are very proud to announce that Dr Michelle Crockett has been awarded an Order of Australia Medal for her service to Medicine. Dr Crockett has spent over 30 years caring for her patients and teaching medical students, nursing students and junior doctors. She is the president of the Nepean Medical Association and holds several roles with WentWest, our Primary Health Network, including GP Clinical Lead on the Health Pathways project.

I chose this place as i wanted to walk and could not travel by car with newborn as she hated the car seat. Dr.Saima saw my newborn twice and diagnosed her to have severe eczema while she was struggling with fungal infection on her whole body. I wasted two weeks with the diagnosis while the baby suffered itchiness and heavy discomfort as we used oil which is bad while having fungal. It was heartbreaking to look at the baby. The consultations were more like hurrying through you just do what i say! and not really listening to our concerns much. Also, my baby only had very slight eczema on her face

Incompetent doctors driven by money and not by patient care.This practice has become worse in last 2 years, misdiagnosed my 5 year old who had eczema with scabies worsening his eczema- poor child was in so much pain for almost a week. Bulk billing Service has been removed and this practice has become money minting machine with no customer service and rude receptionists.
I am ashamed to call you my local practice in these trying covid times.Their focus is only money.Its just not fair to take advantage of sick people when they need most care. 0 for community care!

I can confirm that my family are patients at your practice.
I'm writing this review with the hope the owners of the practice see this. I've been taking my family, comprising of 3 under 3, for the past 12 months. It is now at the point where I'm disappointed with the practice, how operations have changed, and the level of care provided.
From a patient point of view, the main focus of this practice has become financial driven. In a time where all families need proper care, this practice has left us out to dry.

My family and I have been patients of Riverstone Family Medical Practice for many years. Although we have mainly seen our regular GP within the practice, we cannot fault the care shown to each of us. We each have individual issues to deal with and have always felt very supported and have utmost confidence in the care we are provided with. We are very grateful to RFMP for supporting our medical needs and overall well-being.

Fantastic staff and doctors, no one id trust more with my health anxiety that seems to be getting progressively worse, if it weren't for the expertise and reassurance of the nurses, doctors, and receptionists i don't know where id be right now
Have unfortunately had to come regularly for three years because of long lasting chronic health issues, and can count the amount of negative experiences I've had there on half of one hand, thanks so much for what these legends do day in and day out

Dr Kim has been our family Dr for 12 years, during that time there has been many complex health issues. Her commitment to her patients and her genuine care is like no other. The professional help and care I have received over the past 2 years from Dr Kim is credit to her, as I don't know how I would of got through it without her. Our family love that Dr Kim cares so much about the environment we live in as well.

RFMP is hands down the best Medical Practice I have ever been to. The practice is a safe, well kept, clean environment with plenty of parking available. Both the reception and nursing staff are friendly, considerate, professional and just overall lovely. They always give me a warm welcome which is exactly what you need when unwell. I have seen a handful of the doctors at this practice and they are all consistently thorough and provide great care. Dr Priya has been my GP for just over 2 years now and I can not credit her enough. I've been coming here for a few years now. I have complex issues and have always struggled to find a decent GP who would help me with those issues. In my experience every GP at this clinic is a patient advocate which speaks highly to the ethos and environment of this clinic. They try their hardest to get you the care you need. I have had a bad experience though- I was suggested a GP when I made my initial appointment & went with them which worked well until the pandemic hit and my original GP became overwhelmed with the pandemic on top of other things when I desperately needed support.
