Hornsby Medical Practice is located in Hornsby on the leafy upper north shore of Sydney. The practice is situated in a large shopping precint and has been established for approxiamately 50 years. Hornsby Medical Practice consists of 3 Doctors, supported by a Practice Manager and 5 wonderful receptionists.

Our focus is on delivering a high quality comprehensive service for our local community. The Doctors provide a comprehensive range of family medical services and have special interests including Minor Surgery, Accupuncture and Rheumatology.

Appointments Report

Hornsby Medical Practice is open between 8am and 6.00pm, Monday - Friday for appointments. Consultations are normally by appointment, but the first available Doctor will see urgent cases. Patients can nominate to see a Doctor of their choice on any given day the particular Doctor is working. If you feel your condition is urgent please let the reception staff know, if you cannot wait please call 000 or go to Hornsby Hospital Emergency Department.

Fees Report

Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, cheque or credit card, we accept visa, mastercard and eftpos. We lodge your claim directly with Medicare for you so you will receive the rebate into your bank account immediately. For all repeat scripts and referrals requested over the phone require a telehealth appointment, Doctors will phone once only after 6 pm.

These people who pretend to care about others are very rude. I would be concerned about their existing patients whether they are treated well or is it just potential new patients that get the rough treatment. The receptionist was very rude and hung up on me mid sentence (and believe me I was my usual polite self my phone voice), I called back in tears to let them know that a medical practice should not be doing this to people especially in such hard times as now can push someone over the edge and the manager was not any better when I was handed to her, she almost hung up on me towards the end when

I love this practice. The receptionists are warm and welcoming, and the doctors are kind, knowledgeable and really care about your needs. I always leave this practice feeling well looked after and really listened to. The level of care is fantastic and I highly recommend Hornsby Medical Practice.

Nothing is ever too much trouble, the depth of experience, very reassuring. I tried to make an appointment and as I am a new patient with very complex needs I asked for fax number so my old gp could send a fax outlining my needs. I was told not to bother as it would only get thrown out.
