Our wonderful and dedicated veterinarians have a broad range of interests, which include surgery, Chinese medicine, acupuncture and the health and wellness of your pet. Our vets are supported by our team of nurses, who ensure our clients and their pets are cared for. With many years of experience behind them, our vets look forward to meeting you and your pets!
Dogs and cats age on average, five to eight times faster than humans. By age two, most pets have already reached adulthood. At age four, many are entering middle age. By age seven, many cats and dogs, particularly larger breed dogs, are entering their senior years. Because pets age so rapidly, major health changes can occur in a short amount of time.
Vaccination has revolutionised control of infectious disease in our pets. It is essential that all pets are adequately vaccinated to help protect the pet population as a whole. Responsible pet care requires kittens to be given their initial course of vaccinations, but this cannot protect them for the rest of their lives.
Regular nail inspection, with clipping or trimming when required, should be part of the routine care of your pet. Whilst many outdoor pets will wear their nails down naturally, elderly and indoor pets will probably need some extra help. The requirement for nail trimming can vary depending on breed, age, level of exercise and the environment in which your pet is kept.
A microchip is about the size of a grain of rice and is injected under your pet's skin, usually on their back near the shoulders. It can be done during a normal consultation. The microchip is embedded with a code unique to your pet and is the most effective form of permanent identification. This code is placed onto a national computer database, so it is particularly useful in the return of lost pets.

The best vet clinic ever!!! Been going to this vet clinic for at least 20 years!!! They have looked after every single pet we have had! Especially my doggie who unfortunately has now passed away. But I would not take my pets to any other vet clinic! Love this clinic! They’re so caring and passionate!!! Thank you again for looking after our fatpup.

I’ve been taking my pup to Northcote Plaza Vet Clinic for 3 years now and have not looked back. We see Erica and she is patient, kind and very thorough with her consultations. All questions answered with true concern for your pups well-being. And in actual fact the entire team there are great as other family pets visit this practice.

I have owned two dogs my parents on and my brother one all of them have been cared for by the wonderful staff. Always there when required and are great in recommending different places for procedures. Would not take my animals anywhere else. Both my girls Sasha (who is not deceased) and my puppy Zelda love there visits to the vets. Thank you for being amazing :)

Best vet around. I have been with them since my dog was a pup. She is now 7 years and I cannot fault them. The vets know what they are doing, and they don't keep adding extra costs as most other vets do. 100 percent recommend. I don't understand how there are 1 star ratings honestly.
