Melbourne Mobile Vet is a house-call veterinary service offering experienced, personal pet care in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Melbourne Mobile Vet is based in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne and services many suburbs within a 20-30 min drive from Preston. Travel to other suburbs can also be negotiated.
Services
Craig grew up in Perth living next-door to his father's Veterinary Hospital in Swanbourne. He completed studies in Biology and Biochemistry, before graduating in Veterinary Science from Murdoch University in 1993. Craig started his veterinary career in rural practice in Bendigo. After two years, he moved to Melbourne and small animal practice in Carlton, where he became Senior Vet and then partner over the next 15 years.
If I don't answer immediately, I may be with another patient or on the road - Please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible. In case of life-threatening emergency or after-hours care, the following Emergency Hospitals are open 24 hours a day and 365 days a years.
I am happy to offer advice in these cases, so don't hesitate to ring me; however if injury or illness is serious or life-threatening, time can be vital - so don't delay arranging transfer of your pet to an emergency facility.

Craig was a great support at the time of the passing of our Poppy. He was compassionate, professional, supportive and understanding. He made a difficult situation more bearable and it was nice for her to be at home in familiar surroundings when she was so unwell. I would highly recommend his services.

Craig looked after our last cat, and actually extended her life by another 6 months - with good quality - after another vet had told us to put her down.
He was always kind, empathetic and also practical - with great advice and knowledge on practical options for treatments, which I’m sure comes with his years of experience.
He is always very generous with his time over the phone and in person, and doesn’t mind repeating information again. From the very first phone call, he was patiently offering good veterinary advice.
He was also very caring when the end came, the deed needed to be done
