Services
State of the art air-conditioning system that circulates air continuously. It provides draft-free fresh air - which is replaced multiple times per hour. Our climate control system ensures temperatures are comfortable no matter how hot or cold it is outside!. Our one-of-a-kind ventilation system is designed to prevent the spread of odours, airborne germs and contaminates.
The Pets Hotel is a family owned business. The Cleghorn and Hill families have been involved in the pet care industry for a combination of 33 years, they are renowned for the expert care, and service that they provide to their clients. This expertise has been combined with years of research and planning to deliver Melbourne pet owners with a facility that offers maximum comfort and maximum safety - in all seasons.
This webcam is a recorded partial view of a typical Day Care and/or Yappy Hour session. Depending on the number of dogs staying with us, play sessions can be conducted anytime between 7.00am and 5.30pm. Dogs are rotated in groups during these times based on compatibility. Due to this pet profiling and matching it is not possible to provide owners with an exact time for their dogs to be seen on webcam.
In keeping with The Pets Hotel efforts of being Australia's most transparent Pet Facility, we can now share a virtual 'Behind The Scenes' tour of our Facility! What you see is what you get, and The Pets Hotel team is proud of our facility and we are itching to show it all off! It’s taken 40 minutes to drop off our dog and another 40 minutes to pick up. Standing outside in the full sun. We understand there are covid hence why we are outside but there is no valid reason for 40 minutes each time. Put the registration desk at the front, you have to do something as this isn’t acceptable

For the price we have to pay for our fur babies to be taken care of per day… this place is an absolute NO! The dogs came back filthy, wet… and with fleas. Our dogs have never had fleas in their lifetime and it was such a mess this time to have the dogs come back with fleas!
Very very disappointing service and complete waste of my money to have kept my fur babies here! Never again.

I picked my dogs up after our holiday on 2nd January. They were wet, stinking with dirty paws. I had to bring them home and give them a bath, I then found fleas which is appalling! I’ve had my oldest for 12 years and he’s never had fleas even when he’s stayed on a farm.
I am very disappointed and will not be recommending this hotel to anyone. Given the fact that the staff didn’t even care when I called to complain and haven’t had any response from management, I will be going out of my way to advertise how bad this hotel is.

Huge thanks to the team for looking after our 10 month old groodle Monty for the week. He'd never stayed overnight anywhere else, but he came back happy & healthy (if you ask me, he secretly didn't want to leave...) Kudos to you all for the care and professionalism and making us feel at ease when leaving him for the first time!

We left our dog in their hands because we thought that was the best option but it wasn’t. The day that our daughter picked him up they confused our dog with other dogs, he was wet and his paws were yellow, they were sending me emails 3 days after our daughter picked him up saying that we didn’t and he was at the hotel… A complete mess !!! They didn’t respond when we emailed them saying that our dog was at home.

Very poor experience to say the least. Our dog came back wet and filthy with fleas and sores on her body. Staff ignored us and were rushed and rude. Cameras were turned off for her period of stay and upon viewing the area they played in I can understand why. Very disappointing as a few years ago it was very different. If you are short staffed then I suggest book fewer animals to maintain a good standard considering you are tasked with looking after animal welfare.

Beyond disappointed is an understatement! I picked up my dog Bruno this morning after a stay at the pet hotel. I had paid for him to have a bath and when I picked him up the attendee told my daughter they hadn’t bathed him and that she had to sign a document acknowledging this with no mention of a refund of the bath. My daughter brought Bruno out to the car and I nearly died! He was covered in sticky old urine. You could not touch him he was so filthy and his fur was all matted and stuck to his body. The smell was atrocious. ! I immediately rang them and the girl told me “oh no we did bath

We’ve been using the Pets Hotel for 6 years! The team are incredibly kind and professional. Easy booking system, quick and easy check in/out, open communication.. and our husky comes back clean, happy and tired from playing all day. Highly recommend. For longer stays, the Pets Hotel Country club does a shuttle from the Port Melbourne facility. Amazing x

Very disappointed with their care and professionalism. Our dog got a weeping eye infection whilst there and they did not call us during his stay to tell us notwithstanding that we explicitly asked from to them to call us if there were any issues as it was our dog's first stay there. When we picked up our dog they laughed it off when we questioned his eye; they actually said dogs get these things all the time here and its nothing! $150 vet bill later it was something that needed to be treated with medication.
I would not trust my pet with these people again.
