A HIIT workout that uses different equipment to focus on different muscle groups to strengthen and work your core. Circuit training alternates workouts targeting different muscle groups in short bursts of high intensity. This alternating means there's less muscle fatigue so you can maintain a high level of intensity throughout the class, while the water helps keep you refreshed.
A high cardio, low impact workout that uses a special boxing bag and water gloves to punch and kick your arms, shoulders, core, hips, butt and thighs into shape. If you think kickboxing is out of your league, water kickboxing is here to change your mind. When you kick-box in water, you're able to do moves you may not be confident doing on dry land.

Anita’s my Angel who I have no hesitation recommending. She is preparing my body for 2 new knees.
When I leave the pool after my bike session the inflammation has disappeared in my knees & I can walk the best way my arthritic knees will allow me too with very little pain. My leg muscles are getting stronger every session which will ensure a speedy recovery after operation. Also it’s an enjoyable way to exercise in Anita’s calming presents.

I have been doing private Water Resist sessions with Anita on the Hydrorider for 8 weeks and the difference in my knees is amazing. They don't ache at night and I can now walk up and down stairs with more confidence. Anita is lovely, so knowledgable and kind.

The water resist program has really helped me find my fitness again after injury slowed me down. Anita is friendly encouraging and knowledgeable about water rehabilitation and everyone has commented on how well I am moving again. She is ably assisted by efficient friendly and very capable Rachelle who is the best at “getting back to you” so you feel supported by the water resist team. Nothing is ever too much trouble. If you ever wondered how you could get back to good health again - here is the answer.

I am so blessed to have found Water Resist Training at Caloundra. I had been doing the push bike for a few months I needed to strengthen my knees, doctor was talking about knee replacements. I found the classes friendly and fun.I didn't realise the good it was doing, until I couldn't make it for a few months. I've been back a little while now, feeling great. The best part is I've cancelled surgery for my knees.

A month ago I started water cycling for rehabilitation after a full knee reconstruction. The first session I couldn't sit on the bike properly. Now I'm cycling smoothly and building up fitness and strength to join classes. I only wish I started this sooner. I so look forward to my sessions with Anita. 🚲🚲

Despite doing everything right and eight months post knee replacement surgery I was still unable to ride even an exercise bike let alone get back on the road. After only one lesson with Anita I was able to completely circle my operated leg while seated. I was so excited! Thank you Anita. I look forward to improving this over the next weeks.

When people ask me about water spinning they can’t visualise a spinning bike in the pool but that’s what it is. Water resist is a great class that all levels of fitness can do and enjoy whether you are recovering from joint replacement surgery or a top athlete. Anita is an excellent coach varying the moves to all levels of fitness but she’ll make you work. She creates a great environment filled with lovely people. Check it out.
