Bay Coffee is a family run business with a combined 40 years experience in the industry. A keen interest in coffee and roasting started many years ago as young students. We immersed ourselves in learning about sustainable farming processes to various roasting methods and barista techniques. Whilst we started out in corporate jobs, the entrepreneurial spirit was too forceful to ignore.
At Bay Coffee, our top priority is the quality and freshness of coffee beans that we offer to you. We source, blend, and roast only the finest Arabica wholesale coffee beans from different parts of the world. As a specialty roaster boutique with 20 years of experience, we believe in the importance of craftsmanship and sustainability.
We operate our boutique roaster in Neutral Bay and focus on fair trade coffee sourced directly from farms that support sustainability and environmental conservation, economic equality and social ethics. Our cafe in Grosvenor Lane, Neutral Bay has been a popular haunt since 1997 for locals who enjoy the coffee being roasted in front of them as they enjoy various origins and blends from around the world.

Have ordered beans from them multiple times. The coffee quality is great and they have a range of different blends and single origin Arabica coffees. Their Dawn Patrol blend has been fantastic for me using a V60. Glad they do free UK delivery as this isn't something a lot of online stores offer. Great value for money and high quality coffee beans, would definitely recommend.

I have coffee delivered from Bay Coffee Roasters regularly now to share at work with my colleagues. Having lived in Wales for the first 33 years of my life it feels good to give my business to the land I call home.
I've tried a lot of different companies and Bay Coffee really stands out as a favourite, I've tried all of their roasts (except the decaf) and love them all. Delivery is always prompt and well presented. The customer care is fantastic.

Recently put an order in via Bay Coffee for a Kilo of their Mexican decaf and their selection pack so we could taste a few different things. These last few years I have primarily ordered via Amazon Prime, I am incredibly fussy with decaff and find most taste like dishwater...
Lets be clear, their decaff is amazing and the other products from Bay Coffee are excellent and I will certainly be using them again. As well as revommending them to my local friends. They are only a few miles up the road and post Covid I will be popping in to enjoy meeting the team and trying a coffee or two prior to buying

If you're a serious coffeeholic and like your coffees extremely bitter, rich, with frothy goodness, and aroma to boot, this is the place for you!
A few years ago when I was just getting into coffee, I preferred the sweeter iced coffee with ice cream variants. But now having stepped up my game and a real coffee connoisseur, I am in love with this rich bitter coffee. Must try!!!!

Disappointing, in a word - the guys here seem to care a lot about the coffee, and so despite high expectations I left rather disappointed. For the first time in a long time I didn't actually finish my coffee.
Coffee: Double macchiato
Bean: A variety of Single Origins, mine was prepared with beans from El Salvador
Crema: Erm, ok I guess, 6.5/10
Overall Taste: A little bitter, not the nicest coffee I have tried 5/10
Served in: Latte glass (-1)
Preparation: Too much milk for my liking, perhaps a little under extracted?
If you are after something like a latte or cappuccino then it might be

Walk in to the Bay Coffee cafe and you immediately see a big chugging bean roasting machine. Very cool especially when it is in action and the roaster lets out the freshly roasted bean with heat vapor pouring forth to provide an aroma so delectable you'll want another cup after another cup of this coffee. Oo la la!
They source quality Arabica coffee beans from around the world with all blends roasted in-house by the Master Roaster in a Probat gas fired roasting machine. On my visit I saw the roaster put the white beans in the top and like a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory machine it produced
