I booked a 3 bedroom appartment with booking.com4 weeks ahead and paid upfront because they made a mistake with price they asked me to pay $2000 extra 3 days before my holiday and when i said im cant afford that they forced me to cancel on my side and harrased me to do so. Im very upset Kathie the management was very rude and harrased me i will take this to ACCC. I have all email confirmation and a message saying see you then and 3 days before my holiday receiving an harrassment and cancellation .

Really spacious apartments,located away from the hustle and bustle of town close to nearby Cafes. Wasnt the cleanest, felt a bit old & tired and no complimentary soaps. Air-conditioning in living area and master room but not in the 2 other rooms, fan not working in 2nd bedroom. Lovely big kitchen but if you like your plates, glassware and crockery organised this will do your OCD in. Master bedroom has a huge ensuite with Spa bath. Enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

Great 3 bed apartment. However, needs a lot of maintenance; two dining chairs with broken backs, tips you out of chair when you lean back, black kickboard plastic cover gets in your way when working at the kitchen sink, broken towel rails in bathroom, curtains falling apart and sticky with, I hope, salt spray. Desperately need loving g care.

The view from the three bedroom penthouse is nice. Avoca beach is beautiful and good for surfers but is a decent walk from the resort. You are close to the cafe and grocery store which is good if you choose to cook in your room which is a nice option. The kitchen in the room is large and spacious. The beds are also large and comfortable. Some of the furniture is getting tired (table top held on with tape??) and toilet seats are plastic and Ill-fitting but these are minor issues. However, for some reason the resort thinks it ok to have no-one in reception for hours on certain days. This is not ok

No soap given and asked for body wash replied it is not hotel we are not supposed to provide all ...valcony floor was dirty too. I travel lot and I never give bad reviews even few minor issues.

We have been coming to Avoca Palms Resort for over 10 years, I have never been so disappointed with my stay. When we arrived many things were unsatisfactory and obviously not maintained. The toilet seat in the on suite was coming off, a kitchen cupboard fell off in my hands when I opened it, there were a few grotty saucepans in the cupboards, every serving bowl or plate was chipped and there were about half a dozen mix matched glasses for an apartment that holds eight people, kitchen draw not closing, light globes were not replaced, taps were dripping, the front door would not lock consistently

This place was overpriced and grotty. In covid times that's not acceptable. Rubbish was left around the grounds for our entire stay. There were grimy fingerprints on walls and doors in our apartment. Very outdated, dirty interiors, despite pictures looking like it would be a nice place. Rooms smelt of sulphur and mildew.
Very short sighted of managers to oversell the place. We certainly won't be back.
On the plus side there was wifi, Netflix, and the beds were comfortable.

Pretty average experience at this place. We stayed in the 4br penthouse suite which was pretty expensive so you'd expect some sort of quality. The bedroom tvs did not work, bathroom water faucet was faulty, the pool was not heated (as advertised), hot water in the shower ran out quickly, as well as a few other things. Most importantly, the woman in the office is incredibly rude, and the place doesn't have an elevator so expect to do a lot of walking up and down the stairs. Would not return here.

Wow what a great weekend in Avoca Beach , I thoroughly recommend staying at Avoca Palms Resort, our 3 bedroom unit was great , it was very spacious modern & clean with fantastic lagoon & Ocean views. Its in a fantastic location being only a 3 minute stroll to the lagoon, beach shops cafes & restaurants and opposite an oval the amenities were also great, our children being fully occupied & entertained with the the swimming pool games room playing table tennis or pool. I thoroughly recommend holidaying at Avoca Palms Resort!
