The room was nice apart from the cleanliness, however, cleanliness ended up being a big issue all round. When we arrived there was a sign on the toilet stating that it had been sanitised, but when I lifted the lid there were hairs on the toilet seat. There was also the previous guest's rubbish in the bin. The bathroom floor was also sticky. On the bed, the sheets had a mysterious yellow stain. On the morning after our first night, we left during the allocated cleaning time. When we came back the room hadn't been cleaned. We contacted reception and they sent the cleaners back to clean the room while

Lovely and incredible views from the rooms and lovely atmosphere. Yet this aura faded to something else a day after we left.
They took $250 out of the bank account and an email saying that there was damage to the room. "one of the single beds had been heavily soiled and stained. The bedframe and the mattress will be needing a replaced." We categorically deny these accusations. It would be totally uncharacteristic of my long term friends' manner and hygiene.
They did not call about the incident. Customer service emailed a day after to leave a bill. At this time they had already completed the transaction

Overall the hotel is a good place to stay, great location right on the beach and close to Terrigal itself, and even included convenient parking at the door. However the room quality and service let me down. Stayed with a couple friends for a few days in a room that was average and outdated at best, but made up for it with its great location. Following our stay we checked and double checked our room to make sure we didn’t forget any belongings and that the room was left in perfect condition, however somehow we were charged $250+ for alleged damages to the room. Obviously not a 5 - Star Hotel. But it's beautiful spot to be at when you just want to go to the beach or the lagoon, eat, sleep and repeat.
Some rooms are old (like old old 😂 - our shower & toilet malfunctioned and had to wait till the next day since it malfunctioned on a Friday night).
But the business are in the process of replenishing which is a good sign.
Customer service is 4.5 star. Friendly, fast and attentive.
I would definitely comeback as it is in perfect location for my liking.
