Old Leura Dairy was our vision. Rather than have a little piece of history destroyed we created an integrated property around it - old with new. The vision of Old Leura Dairy has been a journey (and a half!). The Worker's Cottage was the first to be realised. A little dilapidated cottage full of stories, memories, and friendly ghosts, reeking of history it had to be saved.
With all its whims and eccentricities it was restored to a new glory. My most recent artistic endeavours were Moo Manor and Buttercup Barn. Our "Naming Competition" saw 2 thrilled winners christen the cottages with their new names. Buttercup Barn was the first to be born; our excited guests arriving to christen it while the door knobs were still being installed!

The look on everyone's faces when we arrived was worth watching. We haven't stopped being in awe of the place since we got here. We didn't go anywhere 'cos we were just too comfortable! Stayed here in The Milking Shed. We really loved our stay. The room contained a heater and a fireplace, a kitchen with items including dishwasher and coffee machine. We also had washing machine and dryer. The property is really beautiful, and the room had such a cosy feel and we really liked rustic décor and our loft bedroom. Toiletries were beautiful, outdoor hot tub was really nice. We were able to walk into Leura from the property. We thoroughly loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

Awesome place to stay! We came up for a weekend away from Syd and it was just what we needed. A peaceful retreat in a funky and very intentional space. We loved all of the amenities, super helpful owner/staff, close location to Leura/Katoomba, lush gardens and hot tub! Highly recommended! The whole area is so green right now too, if you’re interested in hiking now is the time!

Great place for a weekend away. Beautiful rustic country decor - you could spend a lot of time taking artsy photos! Very comfortable and spacious. Clean but with a few spiders and bugs around (hey, you’re in the bush and they were there first!). The surrounding garden is also beautifully landscaped. The hot tub was nice but small. Eco friendly with refillable very nice amenities. You also separate recycling and garbage! Very very nice for a girls or family weekend.

Pleasantly surprised by the charm of the property which is spread across several different old buildings. It looks better than the photos you see. We stayed in the workers cottage - a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage that sleeps 6 easily. The kitchen in the cottage is well equipped. The 2 bathrooms are rustic but suit the property. Overall a wonderful stay

Spectacular materials have been used in this property. Including; Straw Bales, Railway Sleepers, Recycled Timber and Handmade Iron Bathroom Accessories & my favourite Recycled Doors.
The house is very spacious with a large dining table to seat 12. TWO fire places 😍 A number of chairs & couches including a secondary seating area with a TV. Outdoor barbecue, laundry, spacious kitchen.
Privacy is a small issue, however management noted they are redeeming that shortly.
