MyLife Medical provides a family friendly and professional health service to the Brookwater, Springfield and the greater Ipswich community.
Our Brookwater practice is within the Mater Health Centre Brookwater. With extensive on-site comprehensive health services including pharmacy, pathology, Mater Health specialist staff and allied health. Access to our practice from Orion Springfield and the Springfield railway station along with plenty of off-street parking makes patient access easy.

Our mission is to treat patients with care, courtesy and compassion in the community we serve. Our practice provides high-quality medical care to the people of Brookwater, Springfield and the greater Ipswich. Our main practice activity focuses on providing quality health services to the families of Brookwater, Springfield and Ipswich areas.
This practice offers consultation by appointment, however, we do have a number of walk-in appointments available from time to time, but this cannot be guaranteed on busy days. Our staff will endeavour to try and accommodate your individual needs. This practice is a mixed billing practice. We bulk bill DVA Gold Card Holders, Aged pensioners, Full-time high school students (ID must be shown) and children 15 years and under.
Brookwater General Practice provides after-hours care through an arrangement with National Home Doctors Service. This service is available in the Brookwater, Springfield and Ipswich areas. If you require hospitalisation, our nearest Emergency Department is Ipswich General Hospital located at Chelmsford Avenue, Ipswich.
Repeat prescriptions may be obtained via phone request if you have seen your doctor at our practice within the last six months for that particular script. Script requests can take 24-48 business hours from the time of request. If your prescriptions request is of an urgent matter, an appointment with your preferred GP is recommended.
It is the responsibility of each patient of this practice to call the practice to find out the results of their test or procedure. Generally, blood tests will require a minimum of 3 days to process, however, specific information will be given by your doctor in relation to the average waiting time for results.

Dr. Kimberley Rigo is absolutely incredible, I cannot recommend her enough!! <3
Sadly, my partner and I have just experienced an early miscarriage due to a blighted ovum. Dr. Rigo has been so lovely, caring, informative and supportive throughout the entire journey - from confirming our initial pregnancy to organising appropriate tests and managing the inevitable miscarriage. I truly feel she went above and beyond for us, with numerous calls to check-in and provide updates following tests. My obstetrician also commented about how amazing my GP is - especially for identifying my need for a prescription

Fantastic. We moved surgeries as we were unhappy with the service we were getting elsewhere. Everything about this practice is positive. It's clean, open, comfortable and the staff are just lovely. Reception are incredibly polite and they smile! Our Dr, Dr Pinel is wonderfully reassuring and gives you confidence she knows what she is doing. Thank you :)

Never had a bad experience here at Brookwater General Practice. My husband, daughter & I used to see Dr Fiser but since she has left, we have been seeing Dr Lorenz. Dr Lorenz is great, has a great friendly attitude - always happy & always happy to help. Office & nurse staff are also excellent & very friendly. Will continue to come.
