The only place to go for quality every time. My wife would not use anyone else as Effie has amazing talent to assess and deliver excellent results. I have had a few items altered and have the same view. If you want done properly and expertly don’t go elsewhere. We travel from Nth Ryde to visit. You may offer alterations but never alter the quality. Thank you Effie and your team for the many years of help.

Effie made many adjustments to my daughter's formal dress for her school formal including taking it up, taking it in, and sewing a bodysuit with built-in bra into it, so that the underwear never moved or showed. My daughter did not have to fiddle or fuss or adjust herself once, all night. I found Effie to be professional, capable, thorough and quick. We will definitely use her again.

I had the most wonderful experience with Effie and her team. My wedding gown was altered so quickly and to perfection. I had a request to add lace sleeves, which Effie so kindly went over and above to find lace that matched the existing lace on the dress. She was so honest and friendly to deal with that it didn't make me fussed at all to travel from the other side of Sydney to get to her. Just a really professional and friendly experience!

I went into Effie panicked and distressed after my wedding dress had arrived 3 sizes too big. It had an open back which was meant to sit like a V, however sat like a big U when it arrived, and the front had way too much loose material which I could never fill.
Effie took great professionalism in altering it, which resulted in a gorgeous dress with a fitted V back, taken in at the front and arms for a tighter look, hemmed to the perfect length and added in a ring at the end of the dress for easy holding while walking or dancing. I recently had my wedding dress altered by Effie Bridal and was really disappointed with the service. While the prices were really reasonable, unfortunately the hem of my wedding dress (which was heavily beaded) was cut unevenly. This was the only alteration made. Instead of pinning the hem and checking the length, it was immediately cut on my first consultation and was cut too short. While Effie Bridal did offer to re-hem the dress, I was not comfortable with them doing this it in case the same mistake was made.

I recently went to Effie to have my wedding dress altered as I had lost a lot of weight and needed the bodice of my dress significantly altered. I was unsure if she would be able to assist because of the bead work and delicate lace. Effie confidently pinned the dress and smiled when I asked if she could have it ready in four days (she did not charge extra for this request). I worried over the next couple of days and was apprehensive upon pick up. To say I was completely thrilled is an understatement, I kept trying to look for the alterations but could see none, it was although

Effie saved my wedding dress!! I received my dress from the store I bought it from and there was a number of faults in the skirt and top. I was completely underwhelmed. After taking my dress to Effie, she fixed it in a number of days and I was thrilled - looked so beautiful and absolutely perfect! Thank you Effie!!!
