Pilates, named after Joseph Pilates, who founded the exercise method, is a low-impact workout that aims to lengthen, strengthen and encourage correct alignment throughout the body. Working with the breath, Pilates involves controlled movements and core activation (don't worry, we'll teach you how) and will see you gain strength to perform daily activities better, stronger and with less injury as a result.
Unlike other workouts, Pilates focuses on the deeper muscle groups, which not only support the outer muscles, but also support the spine. For those who suffer from general soreness, weakness or simply want to improve muscle tone and feel more capable - Pilates is a fantastic option. You can start at a beginner level and slowly progress.

Services
Within our classes, you will learn more about your body, alignment and how each exercise works to strengthen and lengthen different areas. Our instructors are all qualified professionals who focus on form and assist all clients not only during class, but before and after as well. Through technical adjustments and educational classes (which are still fun, we promise!) you will walk out of Inner Balance with exactly that!

I would highly recommend Inner Balance Pilates Studio Lara. The studio itself is incredibly conducive to a good workout. All the instructors are great. They each have their own unique style, in terms of the types of exercises they pick and how they teach. They often provide variants on each exercise to accommodate each individuals capabilities. All of the instructors are very kind, considerate and helpful.

Amazing instructors every class has so many options for differing body abilities, so much professional expertise and the friendly atmosphere fostered in the classes has allowed me to make friends. Class availability is fantastic as someone who works shift work the flexibility of the waitlists ensures I get into classes every week.
