Last minute Christmas order. Just two bejglis, Hungarian specialty for Christmas and Hungarian honey. The owner was really helpful accepting last minute order and solving problems with the payment. The baked sweets arrived in perfect condition to Cairns. My compliments for the home made taste!

I like baked goods especially from other cultures which I've not seen before so a visit to Bodri's Hungarian Artisan Bakery & Cafe (@BodrisBakery) at the Adelaide Central Markets was a must.

A handmade puff pastry filled with the famous Hungarian sweet chestnut puree (gesztenye püré)
Wow, delicious pastry, I really love the smooth chestnut filling which is just sweet enough without being over the top.

They got excellent bejgli!
Both the poppy or walnut is nice. Cheese pocket was average. Chocolate snail is the same. Cheesy pogatcsa is nothing flash. Horse shoe poppy was ok. Walnut exceptable. But the chesnut one was undercooked.
Many of the different products are on the same pastry base. Which is ok
But could have better products for the prices.

Traditional Hungarian sweets and food in Adelaide Central Markets. Amazing coffee as well. The staff are very friendly and will happily explain their products. You can also place an order in advance if you need something that requires time to prepare.

It's definitely a taste of Hungary. I had the savoury langos and it was terrific. It's not the langos my mum used to make or what you can enjoy at the Hungarian Club in Norwood but it was very much a pleasant surprise. The cheese scone was less thrilling but overall definitely worth your time and investment.

Love their cakes/pastries & their coffees too. Not a huge range of cakes, (which is a good thing), BUT what they do have is exceptionally scrumptious. The quality of the pastries/cakes is very high. The service & staff is good too.

Amazing bakery with premium coffee where you get the persistent tate every time. their cookies, pastries everything looks so delicious it is really hard to choose what to get.
Most importantly great service with smile.
