Located in Paddington's Five Ways, in a lovingly restored terrace, owner Michael has created a cozy dining space with a buzzing atmosphere. The 111 seats are spread over 2 levels, each dining space offering a unique dining experience. Latin American cuisine draws from a rich tapestry of cultural history - from the Mayans and Aztecs, to African and Asian influence, European colonisers and modern global transplants.
Its food is robust flavourful and and always inventive. Inspired through our culinary adventures throughout the region, Tequila Mockingbird continues to play on this tradition of fusion by adapting and transforming the elemental beauty and tastes of Latin American cooking to the modern Australian kitchen.

Omg, the ceviche tacos might be one of the closest experiences to feel heaven in your mouth...
I booked Tequila Mockingbird by mistake as I wanted to book Esteban, however it is one of those honest mistakes you love to have.
Great atmosphere, latin music that makes u feel like dancing, tequila in every single imaginable cocktail, exceptional service and the food... well I can't express enough how glad I was to be there...
Keep it up guys ๐ฎ๐นโค

Tequila Mockingbird is a fun and cool restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating over two levels. I was there on a Saturday evening and it was jam packed full of people everywhere. They make really nice cocktails and the Mexican inspired food was delicious. The potatoes were my favourite and tasted exactly like bbq chips/crisps. The toilets are gender neutral and located on the third level of the restaurant however, the only way up is via the steep staircase so it is not accessible friendly.
