Services
Prompt Conveyancing was founded by Micheline Lazaroo, Licensed Conveyancer and Member of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers (NSW Division) in 2001. Micheline had already been working in the industry for more than 10 years and saw a need for conveyancing to be made easier and more convenient for buyers.
As buyers you should be aware that the majority of Contracts in NSW are drafted very much in favour of the seller. At Prompt Conveyancing we will negotiate on your behalf to ensure that the terms are fairer to you. Exchange happens when both copies of the Contract are brought together, checked to make sure they are identical, then "exchanged" (or swapped).
Vendor disclosure legislation in New South Wales requires you to have a Contract for the Sale of Land ready and available before marketing the property and this Contract must include all necessary documents as set out in the relevant law. It is illegal for you or your selling Agent to advertise your property for sale unless a complete Contract is available to any interested purchaser to look at.

I cannot recommend Micheline enough. She guided my wife and I through the purchase of our first home and was extremely thorough, had a clear explanation for everything and was always contactable. Thanks to Micheline everything went smoothly and with as little stress as could be expected. That said, if there were to be any unforeseen issues (which there weren’t) Micheline is who I would want on my team!
