Was so loud in here I could barely hear the person I was dining with. They could do with some carpet or acoustic foam or something. Service was an appropriate wait time. Coffee and muffin really nice. Fish pieces quite small for a $24 meal. The chips were nice. Mixed vegetables a good size.
We ended up taking our food away and ate the rest away from the restaurant. Beautiful view. Friendly service. Next time I go here I would sit outside (it was a rainy, yucky day so we we had booked inside).

Great location looking into the harbour of Wollongong and the lighthouse. The food is nice and reasonably priced, but the portion is a bit small. Service is good, not a long wait to bring out coffee and food. Was not able to try any of the seafood dishes as it was still breakfast menu but would love to go back and try their grilled seafood platter. Their affagoto is really good, nice strong taste and sweet once all mixed together and comes with a biscuit.

Good looking presentation, great food and not so great service. The overall look and view of the "restaurant" is very nice, it looks professional and modern, with everything being clean and tidy. Upon entering, we noticed there were no menu's and so requested one from a lady at the front desk, presumably a manager (judging upon appearance). She asked if we'd been seated, very abruptly mind you and we said we'd gotten our own table. She looked a little peeved and rudely requested that a waiter nearby seat us and get us a menu, angry that she hadn't done so already.

I recommend sitting at the outside tables, while the decor is nice inside, sitting outside offers you a view great view of the harbour and you can enjoy your morning breakfast board and chocolate milkshakes while looking at pelicans floating lazily along the water, people doing standup paddleboards and watching the boats/yachts enter and leave the harbour. We went there for a second breakfast after doing a bike ride, They served breakfast till 11:45am and lunch only from noon on-wards and since we got there at 11:30am, it was still the breakfast menu. However we stayed there for a while (reading

Bombora seafood restaurant, a glorified bistro.
With a fancy facade, the impression and expectation of this eatery didn't hold up.
Made a trip down to the Gong and after a spot of shopping I wanted to take mum and my fav aunt out for a nice seafood lunch. On our lil cruise through City Beach we spot Bombora Seafood, "THAT looks good!" we all say in unison (...fools).
We arrive and scope out the place. Theinner girly is smiling ear to ear,
' woop! ladies luncheon, ooh look a seat outside with a view of the harbour, score!'.The inner gangsta gave it a quick scan & was
