A prosthodontist is the most highly trained dental professional out there to help you restore your smile. Prosthodontists will help to restore your mouth to full health and function and give you a smile that you will be happy and confident to show. Prosthodontists undergo an additional 3 years of specialised training- after graduating as a General Dentist.
Our friendly and caring team of dentists and oral health therapists welcome all members of the family into their care. We enjoy educating our future dental heroes to take the best possible care of their teeth. A visit to the dentist should not seem a chore, nor should brushing teeth or eating healthy foods.
A Dental Bridge is a prosthetic appliance that replaces missing teeth. A Dental Bridge is usually made of porcelain that is fused to metal to achieve both strength and a natural aesthetic. A Dental Bridge comprises of 1 or more prosthetic teeth suspended off a dental crown at either end that collectively spans the gap of your missing teeth.
Sometimes when a tooth is fractured or already has previously undergone substantial restorations, the best option is to repair it with a dental crown. A crown is essentially a manufactured tooth which fits over the top of your existing tooth. Before having a crown, your existing tooth is reshaped with any decay or broken sections removed.

It is always a pleasure to visit Dr Eddy and his team at Victorian Dental Group. Even our children look forward to visiting and enjoy their time visiting, which is not common for the dentist I am sure! We have had some surprising dental emergencies with the children to which we have had very quick and attentive care, even on days when the surgery is closed. Forever thankful to Dr Eddy and his team.

It was tough to choose a new dentist.
But I did not want to keep going to the city for my usual excellent dental care. So I chose Vic Dental Group and crossed my fingers, hoping I had made the right choice. I absolutely love Eddie, Adam and the team. All my life I’ve had zero loyalty to my dentists, I’d just go to one that was most convenient and hope the experience was short and painless. Once I walked into VDG when they first opened, I haven’t gone anywhere else! They are awesomely friendly, professional and just amazing people. Did I also mention that visits are relatively painless? They’re just so gentle!

I took my daughter for her first dental visit (3 1/2yrs) and only wished the dentist was this magical when I was a kid. Such a lovely experience for both of us. Even myself, who grew up not loving the dentist felt so comfortable in this clinic. I did a lot of research into finding a good dentist for my daughter so she wouldn’t grow up fearing the dentist like I did and I spent 15 minutes trying to convince her to leave. Everyone, from the second you walk into the door was so welcoming and lovely. Would recommend this clinic to any one at any age. Grateful I live in the same suburb.
