Pineapple Express Cafe

Google says open till 2pm but I got there at 1.30 on Sunday and kitchen was closed, so can’t rate the food but was disappointed I had driven there and couldn’t get the acai bowl I had driven for.

What lovely coffee. Cute little shop front. Open early too!! Always helpful

I work in the center and came to Pineapple Express for a smoothie. Smoothie was great as usual but the customer service was abysmal. Didn’t get a hello or a goodbye, not even a smile. I could’ve gone to Woolworths but instead decided I’d support a smaller business instead. Really disappointed in the way I was treated considering I was the only person they were serving.

Coffee.
On the way to set design, I bought my typical latte. $4.50 great price. Great temperature, Good milk texture. But the Crema was missing and it is supposed to be a 2 shot, but it tastes like a single shot.
Not the best.

Terrible experience at Portside cafe. Served stale muffins. When I complained, was told they were fresh that morning. All 4 were stale, and at $5.50 each - they were inedible. Contacted the cafe afterwards, and the response was “thank you for your feedback”. Will definitely not be going back. We have lost our cafe ‘vibe’ at Portside with this type of service.

What an awesome place for breakfast. The eggs benny was huge and cooked to perfection, the coffee great. To top it off the service is really good and the staff went over and above at ensuring our meals were gf (coeliac).

Definitely recommend the Eatons Hill cafe. Food is consistently amazing and the staff are awesome 💯🎉

Their menu states that they can satisfy even the most fussiest of eaters......well bearing in mind they gave me normal milk when I asked for coconut, runny eggs when I asked for hard and only one hash brown when there were meant to be (and paid for) 2.....good luck if you are fussy. So dirty inside we chose to move outside. It’s a shame. Hamilton has lost its vibe and buzz and it appears this cafe has also given up trying. We won’t be back. Staff were very pleasant though. Really lovely staff.

Average coffee and the staff are not welcoming or friendly one bit. This place needs a spice up in atmosphere and an attitude readjustment. Also overpriced and they took away the doggy water bowl

I went there this morning and ordered a meal except half the meal arrived !! We said where is the rest of the food that was advertised and what we paid for !! they said ah sorry they actually don’t have it ??! No warning that it was out of stock and no refund ? Absolute theft and false advertising will never be back.

These guys make a fabulous juice called "Cold Killer" the base juice being beetroot! Yum Yum. On Sunday the staff member was just closing when I arrived to place my order! Opps sorry I am a little late! No troubles he said and he very kindly made my juices and was very pleasant to boot! Thank you fantastic service and kindness!

Absolutely love this place for their açai bowls and juices! Definitely a little pricey but the quality is high here.

I just ordered 3 coffees and had to wait 30 mins before I went and asked for a refund as I was running late for an appointment. The 2 girls working were making food and not coffees. When I asked why it was taking so long I was told that the boss had called in sick. Its sunday and people go out for coffee on Sundays. If the boss was sick then a replacement should have been arranged. This was our first time and now last time we will ever attend this cafe. We had no apology or sympathy for the delay. Another customer asked for a refund just before me also.
So much for pineapple 'express'. Not impressed

Paid $9 for a Pina Colada smoothie. When I received it the smoothie was mostly crushed ice and the pineapple had not been peeled or de-eyed correctly. The "smoothie" was full of green and brown chucks, after every sip i was spitting out pieces - not very smooth if you ask me. When I pointed this out to the worker she provided no explanation or apology. Poor service and poor quality high priced product.

Service to slow sat there for an hour, waffle is tough as a rubber 👎 and not recommendable

Menu sounds great but staff at James street are rude/not friendly at all - been there on two occasions and both times the staff members acted over-worked and were very impolite. Won’t be going back a third time
