Not very clean, owners are no where to be found. The other guest where noisy, had hardly any sleep due to yelling & fighting by other guests.

The sign out front says $89 but once you're in there is no room for that amount. It was basically placed out to draw customer in. You looking at $150 per night for a room that isnt even 3 stars. Go elsewhere for $150 per night I suggest.

Found a crack pipe in a drawer, beds had stains and bathroom was sticky. Would not recommend. Only used the room to book another hotel.

Clean room. Within walking distance to shops and La Trobe University. Close to tram 86. Staff are friendly, attentive and really do their best to ensure your stay is pleasant. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

When I entered the room it had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The rooms are in a dire need of updating. A very 80s feel about them. Brown tiles in the bathroom and no place to put the soap or shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The bedside table had the built in radio. The heater above the door worked well but didnt have a remote to control the temperature and was very noisy. The bed itself was very comfy and it had a very good working electric blanket. The layout of the room was good with a couch and a table. Kitchen facilities were ok with bar fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The

Stayed 5 days:
Pros:
-Bed was comfy had electric blanket underlay (woohoo)
-TV worked fine after we had to readgust the ariel conection in the wall
-Room had a microwave n toaster
-easy access via tram
-Lovely park n playground across the road
Negs
-Shower had large section of floor tiles missing right where you'd need to stand.
-Shower head had to be duct taped to hold pressure n not spray off at the wall n roof.
-Other guests kept parking in our assigned place so we just parked in the car park across the street.
-For the price be prepared for a range of 'interesting' neighbors.

This place was horrible .. We got there at 8 .. 9:30 the manager fixed the tv and left. We were given a house in a yard only house in there and strange men were walking around the yard. I rang police .. This house was so dirty we felt ill .. The manager was laughing at me. The owner refused to speak to me. It was cold paint was peeling above the shower. The furniture was hard rubbish. It was horrible. Toothpaste we hope allover the floor. God knows what on the curtains. I cried . i took 3 kids into this filthy situation. I didnt get tea we were waiting for the tv to be fixed. Just insane. 220 dollars

Absolutely disgraceful. Rooms were dirty and not maintained. Holes in walls, ceilings and rarely was there enough hot running water for 1 person to have a shower let alone 3. Booking was incorrect on arrival even though our numbers had been finalized. Rooms were so dirty there were bugs visible in the beds in some rooms. A refund of some money was asked for due to the poor hygiene quality of rooms but none was forthcoming. Due to the large number of our group it was impossible to find anything else over the Easter weekend once we saw the rooms. Never again and would definitely not recommended.

Definitely not a place you want to experience if in a holiday unless you want a cheap place. The apartment room was pretty run down but huge with 3 bedrooms and a kitchen. The beds were done properly and the towels were neat. The best part for me was the breakfast and the lovely couple who owns the place. I was just there for couple of nights attending a conference at the university.
