We had a lovely dinner at the Railway Hotel for Valentines' Day. There was a special deal for the night. A 3 course meal with a bottle of bubbly. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic and it was great value. Thank you to Richard, Ronan, Chris and other staff for making it such a special night.

Well above the standard pub affair... I've done the Wednesday "steak special" more than a few times and for $17 you get a good sized steak with 2 sides (choices of salad, fries, grilled vegetables or mash) with a sauce (from 3 options mushroom, pepper and Garlic). The management and staff are pretty friendly which is always a plus...

Great local pub in South Melbourne. They have a wide range of beers and alcohol to suit your needs. This place is spacious, outdoor & indoor seatings, shows sports channel, have a pool table and one old school pinball machine. Food is pretty good too where they run specials on different days. For example it was $14 for chicken parma every Tuesday.

The weekly Parma special. Tuesday night is Parma night. A big succulent chicken Parma with chips and salad for$14. Got to love that. Tasty and succulent chicken schnitzel covered with melted cheese and a rich tomato sauce. Generous serving. Hot crunchy chips and a serve of greens to make it less sinful. Railway Hotel has been doing this forever and nothing has changed, even after the change of owners. Good range of beer on tap, and a good selection of wine at reasonable prices. Always a favourite.
