My stay was poor, I was downgraded after sleeping in a room with no air conditioning for my first night of the stay. They have since denied giving me any compensation or refunds. During Covid 19 Pandemic, my room didn't have any windows or ventilation and they won't refund my stay. It is really bad service and unhealthy for me. They do not have any room service or housekeeping either and didn't advise me of this upon check-in, the building is hot from the summer days with no air conditioning in the hallways. I do not recommend staying here, it was unfriendly, uncomfortable and not very appealing

My girl friend and I are residents of New Caledonia and this has been our hotel since 2015 for our vacation, I read in the reviews that the rooms are small, it doesn't have a great view, but the rooms are clean, this hotel and perfectly located, but above all, the staff is exceptional, and this hotel will continue to be ours for our next vacation as soon as the situation improves.

We decided to stay in the city to help support local businesses. Our stay at Batman on Collins was a poor and disappointing experience. The room heating didn’t work and we were offered another room at 2 am while our kids were already asleep . We slept in a freezing room ( would have been. Better off in the comfort of our home just under 30 mins from the city) . At breakfast we asked for hollandaise sauce to be told they’ve run out , made a mistake with our coffee order after taking 20 mins or more to make the coffee. Our main issue was the room with no heating but all the little bits added

It was close and convenient to what I wanted to do in the city and the staff are very kind and helpful.
I am a regular at the Batmans and was surprised to be asked for a $200 bond besides paying my room rate. For goodness sake I am not renting the property and surely this should be a no go for regulars. This will make me reconsider my city stay at the batmans from now on and I visit the city very often.

Our room was in the basement. The view from window is included. Nothing like what the pictures showed when booking. Someone was smoking nearby which wafted into our room. The room was so dusty, we could hardly… stop coughing and scratching.I even heard a dog bark. Then there was the constant opening and closing the doors all night, the flashing lights that flashed all night about your heads. This made sleeping impossible. There was also a abusive man screaming out obscenities during the day. The bathroom was smaller than a cruise ship and that is saying something. The only plus was the location

Upon check in I notified the reception that I would be staying in a room booked under my brothers name as he recently needed surgery. The receptionist was understating and I recognised that the hotel would need to proceed with caution to avoid room theft. Considering, the manager who was notified about the change was rude and dismissive, not treating me with respect and empathy but shortness and frustration. I proceeded to wait roughly 40 minutes before I received the key. I offered for my brother to call and confirm ID but they said that’s not an option and I’d need to get him to change the

After reading the reviews I proceeded to book here with caution ...
I wore my work clothes, was greeted most politely by staff when I booked in late, and directed to my room .room was up to date ,tastefully furnished , beds were clean and made and shower worked very well . Staff were equally polite on departure ensuring a swift getaway . Great value honestly and the location if travelling is perfect

Negatives Shower is so small and constantly changes temp then you have to tap it ever so slightly of fear of being burnt alive or freezing BREKKY was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Half hour wait no cutlery the worst coffee in history a poor selection for the price and the staff down here… horrible all running around not knowing whats going on horrible scowls on everyones face.
Don’t waste ur money on brekky here and get maybe a more expensive room the hallway constantly smelt like cigarettes i was facing inward of the hotel (my fault

The bar has terrible customer service (please do some basic training) considering it is all about gaming there. Not 1 F given to the people in the gaming room let alone anyone else there trying to get a drink. Plus limited to poor choice of beverages. Wish I never went back second time thinking it would be ok. Lucky you have Keno. Unlucky I found better venues near by.
