Together as a team we are here to make your dental experience a positive one.
Services
Dr Emmanuel Malakonakis graduated with honours from Sydney University and has maintained a high commitment to ongoing education and the latest techniques. His primary focus is on comprehensive treatment planning, implant and cosmetic dentistry and prevention. These are the cornerstone of obtaining the best outcomes for his patients.
At Gymea Dental we emphasise that prevention is better than cure. We therefore have dental hygienists as part of our team who specialise in preventative dentistry. Our hygienists will work with you to provide optimum oral health by creating a dental routine for you to follow which will suit your unique situation and needs.
To understand a root canal procedure, it helps to know about the anatomy of the tooth. Inside the tooth, under the white enamel and a hard layer called the dentin, is a soft tissue called the pulp. The pulp contains blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue, and helps to grow the root of your tooth during development.
At home teeth whitening is a safe and effective way to lighten the shade of your teeth. The process involves fabricating a thin, clear inconspicuous tray moulded to your teeth. A whitening gel is dispensed into these trays and worn either overnight or during the day at your convenience. The course of whitening treatment is generally 10-14 nights/days although results vary from case to case.
A veneer is a thin layer of material placed over a tooth, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth or to protect the tooth's surface from damage. There are two main types of material used to fabricate a veneer: composite and porcelain. A composite veneer may be directly placed (built-up in the mouth).

I go there myself, as does my wife, my sons and daughters even though we must pay for our treatment!
